Thank you! Very consistent and thorough demonstration. I enjoyed it a lot and you always put the bass characteristics at front before any ego or technique . Nicely done, mate!

I'd pick the Fender at this point, my Ampeg BA-110 has the whole pedal as it's own Preamp and the Scrambler as well. It's spot on Ampeg Tones. The Fender seems like a very useful device. Maybe when I venture out to play with others I can get the Ampeg to take my sound anywhere, since I already have the Ampeg as my base, bass tone. My Ampeg amp doesn't have the hi and low switches though. I'm fairly new to bass. Barely over 1 year of lessons and practice. I love it though. I dig your channel, it's produced well, no nonsense and to the point informative. I liked, subscribed and smashed the bell!

I don't do live but I would use one as an Amp in a box if they'll work that way.
Great amp, I have been a fan of the reverberocket, jett2, and super rocket guitar amps from around the same time.

Good video and that's a nice looking bass. Could be shorter (the video, not the bass) and I can't help but be nitpicky and say tone is not on or off, there is not more tone or less tone, rather it favours treble or bass more.

Tyler you are so awesome I always agree with what you have to say Tyler can I tell you about which one I would like to see. I would like to see the Gibson eb-1 come back the violin one I would love to have one of them. I'm thinking about buying the Eastwood EB one which is a pretty accurate takeoff the real Gibson eb1 usually starts for about 4,000 and up which is kind of hard for me to come up with at the moment. Anyway you're the best Tyler thanks for all your hard work

I bought one in the sunburst and I am impressed with it. I made mine look more original by adding original Fender chrome pickup and bridge covers. At first I thought they would not fit correctly but they fit perfect with no alterations When you get one new, be sure to take off the clear plastic on the scratchguard, Easy to do, just loosen the srews a bit and peel it off. If you leave the clear plastic on it will yellow the white over time.

Great video and thanks for taking the time to do this. I was quite surprised at how minute the differences were over KZread. All slightly different flavors yet all very useable. The takeaway for me here is that I liked the U5 through the Focusrite. So a good preamp made all the difference for me. That conclusion would probably be different listening to the WAV file rather than the compressed KZread version. Very interesting.

I feel that the passive tones are good enough for it not to need the active preamp. I'm considering gettin the 5-string, and can see myself not using the active setting. :)
