Thanks, Tyler! Cheers from Lincoln, Nebraska over in the states! I've always had the gear bug, worked in music shops, and have found your videos really informative and helpful. And now recently I've started playing the bass more, and so I love this content as well man! Would love to see more of it. Killer channel, definitely one of the best ones out there for bass guitar! 🔥

Thank you so much for watching Jacob! I really appreciate the kind words. I’ll definitely keep up more of this type of video to supplement everything else - there’s definitely more to it than gear - as fun and addictive as buying gear is. I’m really starting to get over to the other side of not worrying about the gear so much and knowing what you can do with what you’ve got - it just took a while to get there! 😅😂 Thank you once again! T

Thank you Tyler, I've been through this several times now and it's helping me to remember where to get for each scale. I'm going to do it for the minors as well. A similar thing, that the wonderful Yolanda Charles did on a video, was to go through the modes in order for G major, which of course can be then be followed through for other roots. A combination of these two practises is great for getting around the fretboard.

Amazing, I’m glad it’s helping! Yolanda is an absolute boss so I’d take anything she says as gospel! T

Awesome, as usual. What is your favourite finger stretching exercise on bass? Beautiful Sadowsky by the way!

Thank you! It’s a Sadowsky UV70, slightly preferring the rear pickup. That with light Dunlop Super Bright strings (but old!). T
