Hi Tyler, I’m quite tempted to get an Aguilar SL212. How do you find those cabs in comparison to barefaced 10inch range?

I do like the Aguilars, a lot! A different colour compared to the BFs, less vintage voiced and a little cleaner, but still with an Aguilar character to them. I think the tweeter makes the Aggie a little more versatile, but they are a lot bigger than BF 10s, and heavier too, even if only marginally. I'd personally go for the 2x 112 as I found having one 212 cabinet a bit of a pain when I was using the BF BT2. The modularity + versatility of that setup is key again there for me. T

@@TylerSpicer thanks - appreciate the response. I thought the bf10 would benefit from having a tweeter too. I suspect they will add one to the entire range after introducing the the one10t. I’ve seen the sl212 at around the £1000 mark which makes it quit tempting given that the cheapest I’ve seen the sl112 is £750. Thanks again

I bought a Harley Benton strat and called it quits on the guitar front :D And I got me a small Arturia midi-keyboard and rather focus on bass and drums. The groove is the most important part in any song anyway, no groove, no fun! I gave up on the wall mounts, I have 6 basses and one guitar on my guitar rack at home (that are ment for 5 guitars/basses). If there is will there is a way! :-)
