  Oh yes the cremello morgan, I remember getting one because everyone had them, later buying another one because I've grown to hate the cremello one for some reason. Still love them. So much nostalgia. I think I'd be most sad to see them and fresians from gen 2 go. Most memories with those two. Back then I actually was hyped up for new horses. Now it's just... meh.

  yes, the sound effects are messed up :(, been a loyal star stable gamer for 11 years and they messed up this game! We never had log in, network errors, lag, bugs, and sound effects issues! They messed up races, horses, TACK, sound effects, music and everything classic about the game that made it so original and special. The new avatar is better than the old one but I DNT HAVE BIG EARS STICKING OUT OF MY HEAD LOLZ , GL!

  Guys what if we just stop paying for star rider. Think abt it, if no one pays, they'd have to lower the price or remove it, or perhaps add a one time payment like 30 bucks. I'm sick of paying 10 bucks a month for it, we're eating from the palms of their greedy hands.

  The championship thing... Does anyone know, have they done something about all the cheaters yet? Last time I used to do championships, there were cheaters at every single one of them, being so far ahead so quickly, it would leave most of the group to fail (because of the timer that starts when the first person reaches the finish) and get nothing. I don't know how frequent it is in other countries, but here where I play it got ridiculous to a point where I just stopped even attempting champs altogether. And agreed doing those for ribbons is just not really worth it... (unless you are a collector, as mentioned) they need better rewards for sure.

  There is one important difference between Alicia and Star Stable and that is Alicia is not allowed to make money off the game. The original company that abandoned it will interfere if the people maintaining it now set up an actual cash shop. That is why you can get so much of the cash shop currency for free. But that being said, I don't think Star Stable would lose a ton of money if they implemented some small star coin rewards. Even giving you a discount or some such thing to put towards horse gear/clothing that only costs star coins would be nice.

  Bro if sso added more incentive to race and win champs or even just the leaderboard for normal racing, I would literally want to play the game again. cuz rn i havent played in a month and have no interest in anything new they're coming out with. All I do is get on to buy a horse and then I instantly get bored, even when there are new quests I just get bored. So more competitive racing with actual rewards would be really fun. Lately I've just been vibing with Alicia Online, but sso is more expansive, so I'd love to do more racing there instead of just on Alicia.

  In regards to server rankings on the championships, regardless of what they do, they could just let the very top get all the benefits of whatever the prizes might be. Like.. If you're no1. You get the seasonal horse, the star coins, the pet + tack + food But 2-3 could get the horse, bit less star cons and pet + tack + food 5-10 get pet, less starcoins + tack + food 10-100 get some starcoins + food 100-1000 get some food. Many phone apps use a system similar to this when giving out rewards, depending on how many players are active in the player pool on the server.

  So the sound of walking on the wooden bridges is gone now?! Dang, that was like the most satisfying sound in the game. I also preferred the old sounds. This one sounds like a horse galloping in the distance which is kinda off putting and i don't like how silent it is now. The sounds of the hooves was one of the reasons I played the game, just to relax and enjoy the sounds but now I can't anymore.

  Idk if this is just for me but I have realized that the sound, sounds muffled turn it up just a bit and everything comes through nice. Maybe that’s just for me though.

  I completely disagree. The game is a casual mmo. If you compare the game to other mmos youll see that its actually incredibly cheap vs others in the same playing field. Now, I do feel like horses should at least be cheaper as they get older by a lot more then they do now but my point still stands (maybe even a way to purchase them outside of sc for lifetimers). This goes for the challege aspect. You cant compare overwatch to sso. Sso is again a casual mmo. Key word casual. Making strong challenges dosent fit with the player base. Overwatch has a real world comp league and is a hero fps (which involves skill and tactics at its core). Theyre two vastily different player bases and games. Just not a good comparison. However, I do see where you are coming from and I wouldnt be apposed to adding more rewards for doing better but it needs to be something that is rewarding and motivating yet also not something that can give the rest of the players fomo because then it would be a hard crush to most of the community (as again this is a casual game with casual players). Lets not even mention owerwatch and their horrible buisness practices. How they literally side lined most of their already existing payed player base in order to make more revenue off f2p players. Theres a good reason why theyre mostly negative on steam. The sso devs are literally angels sent by god himself compared to blizzard...

  I'm excited about the sound effect changes because sound is a vert huge part of the game. But I am in fact taking my clothes off if the bridge sounds don't get straightened out. It was the best sound in the game.

  Crossing the bridge at cape cod was one of the supreme clopping sounds, it’s not now 😔 The muffled sound makes me feel like I hear someone else riding far away from me, not a horse I’m riding

  Something else is coming later in July that I think you might appreciate as an "upgraded version" of the Championship Ranks that you wished - again an activity based on various achievements, but by far not only from championships, and with really SOLID and actually useful rewards. Not SC, because the moment SSO introduces ways to earn SC in the game, the company is done (at least at the moment, when they're apparently barely holding on from their SC sales). But really varied and motivating rewards, motivating even for high-demanding players I would say. So I'm curious what your reaction to it will be!

  Also I miss the old horse hoof sounds SSO had. I miss that loud stomping , it felt like our horse actually had weight and it was more immersive . Now its like you’re riding a horse made of plastic and filled with air lol

  Agreed. Star coins as rank prizes would make so much more sense.
