i got both the dwb's. originally just planned on getting the grey as i am a grey lover, named her Opal. the bay tobiano didn't impress me in the spoilers but after seeing it in-game, the base coat is just right and the markings aren't *too much*, so he ended up bought as well. named him Chippie, since he reminded me of chocolate chips. passed on the lippy since i couldn't come up with a name or tack theme, and i agree that their animations are weird. also just wanted to add that even if all you do is log in to buy a horse or two, im still happy to watch

On your question about grey horses, I love them! I have groomed and ridden a grey horse for almost 11 years and it really felt like he was my own horse. I also had this amazing bond with him. He grew really old, around 27. Man, I loved that horse haha.

Is no one gonna talk about the fact the lipizanners coat is the exact same as the paso finos?

I don’t hate grays necessarily, but I do hate most pintos…but the tobiano is so subtle that it looks fine and I prefer this gray over the dapple gray lol. And I didn’t like the bay pinto originally because I thought it was a liver chestnut like the Belgian warmblood, but this is the first time I’m noticing it’s a bay, and that changes things….I have to get both because they’re limited. No time for deliberation, I fear.

I love the three colors that came out today and they are already in my stable I am in LOVE with the tobianos and especially the attention to detail with the bay tobiano. It has ink spots on the legs, with can indicate that a part of its genotype is TO/TO, which I don't think has been done before with another horse breed yet (but idk 100% tho) And also the grey tobiano reminds me of the oldenburg mare i sold you in HR (i think you renamed her to Smokin Hot) Anyways good video, I enjoyed it a lot :)

A grey horse hater here!! 😭 okay I don’t HATE them but I never seem to like grey horse coats unless they’re snow white, it’s mostly because I really dislike dapples on any coat and grey horses tend to be the most common dappled coat..

Man I’m kinda sad I thought they were gonna put that like tan dwb in from the loading screen cause it’s so pretty 😭 tbh I don’t like either of the new coats.. the light grey gives me brandy Melville vibes and the brown spotted one is just not it like I’d feel like I’m riding the paso fino 🌞

you can level up your horse from 1 to 15 in about three hours by doing the 250 race in firgrove over and over again

I love the bay tobiano, I named her Coffeekiss and I’m planning on buying the cream dwb. I’ve enjoyed riding the dwb in game and think they did a good job on those horses

Sso keep focusing on horses and changing content what's already in game, they really should focus more on endgame content. Yes there are champs and you can train your horse in a day now wow. But what I mean is to add something that's similar to the hollow woods thing ( I haven't played since 2019 idk what its called) in maybe pandoria, as we can still access the area hourly with the different poral locations. I feel like they should revive pandoria in a way to enhance the gaming experience then again idk. But sso is slacking just like genshin cause there's no competitors for their games so they can make bs updates.

I think since its whole premise revolves around horses theyre focusing on that since ngl that was rough too, I think just to put it simply everything needs an update and with a logical direction. Im sticking around to find out whats endgame and hopefully eventually theres an end game

Mostly, I try not to buy the same horse breed twice but if the gaits and horse coats are spot on then I will regardless. The Dutch warmbloods and Belgian warmbloods are still pretty my favorite in game ^_^

Honestly I'm so tired of grey horses. ESPECIALLY dapple grey horses. I feel like SSO releases them left and right when there are coat we don't have yet or barely have. Like cremello appaloosa or pinto. More splash paints. We only have 3 or 4! A silver black? 1 maybe?

I haven't played since the death of my character. That character update killed it for me. I haven't played for like 2 years almost I think. I used to play SSO a lot before that update. I started playing in mid 2012, I'm an old player. The character update was the straw that broke the camels back for me. It wasn't the shady business practices, the price hikes, or the fact that I would be very bored with no club to call home to, which are reason enough to leave tbh. It was the new characters. "Diversity and inclusion" my butt, why can't I have my curvy hourglass body shape anymore? Why are all the bodies boy-ish or rotund? If I were to actually re-install the game again, I would probably buy the bay tobiano Dutch Warmblood. I love all my brown horses.

the grey dutch warmblood honestly looks blue to me and i can't not see it 💀i wanted to love it so bad but as soon as i checked it out in game i was like this mf is like blueish i swear

I commented asking if they were limited on SSO’s Facebook post about them and they said that they were permanent additions but I’m reading online that they’re only for the festival so not sure if it was misinformation for the social media team or confusion on my part! Like you I don’t play this game much anymore but it’s always in the back of my mind. Wondering about updates etc. I’ve been a player since the younger SSO days, and after completing every quest, gardening, maxing out all horses, leveling to 25… the game has nothing to look forward to except new horses. I didn’t buy the new dutchys. I regret a little bit because they’re limited, but as a hunter at heart… I can’t stand the high gaits. I’d much rather rock a thoroughbred or paint horse for cheaper

Honestly agree, SS is getting boring as someone who only has 200 star coins and can't buy them/have star rider, I can't buy horses. Then when I want to enjoy playing I can't THERE IS NOTHING TO DO. Honestly everyone should quit and make a strike for a way to get free star coins haha like quests etc.

i don't like the dutch warmblood bc the animations are not like healthy dressage... they are those unhealthy fake moves ...the lippizaners have amazing dressage animation...but this ...nah I don't wanna abuse my horses in sso

@@ShinySonic the toe flick is natural. The extended trot is a natural gate any horse can perform it without a rider. Your all getting confused with big lick. Completely different. High steps don’t always mean soring or harsh bits are involved. I’m not excusing the dressage world, because they do that BUT The horse in sso doesn’t have its head past the vertical in the extended trot which would be where the abuse is found in dressage.

@@ShinySonic if sso had the dwb in a rollkur head carriage then yea I would say that’s awful and promoting a bad riding style but they don’t. The horse has its head in the correct position so I don’t understand the connection

RDR2 is better for horses. And better game OVERALL but, it is my opinion.

I adore the rose grey lippy, but I’m not at all a fan of the grey dutchie. I am also not a fan of greys anyway, I tend to ignore them as they’re so boring and basic. This goes with the bays as well. They’re boring and basic. Even in real life! I perfer the more unique coats, like the roans. Very few greys I like and have.

Ahhh we chose the same Dutchy! Love the new bay pinto. 🤍 we chose the same mane/tail options to. I named mine cashqueen because I like to consider her a breadwinner of my stable. 🤣 and “her” stallion is my Belgian Warmblood who’s named cashking.
