What were you finding scary in the old Hollow woods ? It just seemed so empty to me... The mirror marshes or the cauldron area definitely creep me out more ^^'

it went from light and peaceful woods to the most darkest yet prettiest forest with mysterious light beams coming out of no where

The melancholy feeling made me a bit cautious over this update at first, but the more I played the more I loved it. It's sad to watch pieces of this game go but I'm happy that it feels like they're listening and trying to engage an older audience through this unlocking mechanic. I learned the other day that you no longer need to keep your grooming stuff in your inventory for it to be functional, which strangely broke my heart. I moved my brushes into storage for the first time ever, and it was weirdly sad? They haven't moved from their spots in at least 3 years, but it did give me new space in my inventory. :') things are changing and it's kinda cool.

Hollow woods have been my favourite for the long time being still with the nostalgic old textures, but seeing them updated makes me happy too, it looks so beautiful

I actually love this update, finally something to do. Yeah its not the best its just a lot of running around but if you have for instence, Dennis on the background just talking nonsense it can be quite fun. Im already quite far into the whole progress thing😌✨️

You're experiencing the lag around Valedale because there are always 4,568,942 players gathered around the giant crystal, and another 654,327 running through the forest. xD Crowded areas → lags. And yes, all the shops were empty for you (and for everybody else, initially) because all the items in the shops, including the make-ups, must be unlocked by the druid activities. ;) You'll get items in the shops as you gradually unlock them, for example I already have the Runeology earrings there :) The Path of Terra isn't yet accessible, apparently it's not fully ready yet, SSO said they will unlock it later.

I was looking forward for the new update and I also saw the spoilers of the outfits and I know what they look like so the surprise is ruined for me, but also I am grinding twice as hard for the outfit sets. The different druid paths are incredible as a lore addict I fell in love with this new lore and gameplay feuture, if I could I would stay up all night just so I can finish it (being completely honest it would take more than 24 hours to complete all of the different levels, paths, quest dialogue and buying the clothes.), but I exist outside my computer as well. Other than the halloween update that felt a bit lacklester, star stable entertainment, makes the game entertaining again, its so great to wake up and log into the game because you have championships to attent to and things to do, the HP is insane like so many people have flew from level 20 to level 24 in what feels like a week? There are more thinks to look forward in this game whether you are a horse enthusiast, lore addict, gamer to the bone it feels fun to play the game again and explore. Also nice outfit.

i only just explored the new hollow woods and got on the game for the first time in months today. seeing it and doing the quests really reminded me why i used to love this game so much. it looks more like wild woods in a way, and i love that. star stable did an excellent job❤

Hmm I don't like the two map signs that make it feel like a national park. Also the new stone thingy and the little garden that replaced the cafe right next to the stable feel a bit unneccessary, not something I'd imagine to be so close to a horse stable 🤔 the burnt house and the runestone ring blend in I think, now when there's so much more in the forest like the place that had books on the stone table. But overall a very pretty place and atmosphere, although what comes to nature I prefer simple 😁 (greendale's my favourite forest) I don't like nature atmospheres to look too much like they're processed by people (the new stone "bridges" under the water which you can cross the river with?)

The path of terra will be coming probably in january or february they said and it's gonig to be about gardening ^-^

I literally looked in each shop expecting at least ONE to have something to buy- and it didn’t

I think the whole place's color palate and graphics are so inconsistent but the quests that they put in keep me busy for so long that it's one of my new favorite areas 👀

I don’t want to be out of line or anything but the flowers that you said remind you of RDR2 made me think of violet flowergarden honestly. It seems like a sweet reminder to me anyway. Excited to see the forest myself soon 😊

Hollow Woods looks pretty now, but still not my thing. The update today, though?? It reminds me of Horizon Zero Dawn, how you spend points to advance skills and whatnot, and I really like that aspect.

Tip for when you unlock the willowisps, and it's good for fireflies as well, go into creative mode and make it nighttime and the fireflies and wisps are SO much easier to see and chase. You're welcome. XD

Yes.. The black friday stuff was so lame, star stable can never give us something we actually want or will be happy to get. We pay so much money for the game and players bye sc and stuff all the time bc everything is so expensive. And they can't even put some good, pretty horses for sale. It make me so mad that they can neve give us something just as a thanks for paying or wanting to make us happy. They just give us shit whenever they "have" to. I can't stand it

I swear, SSO has to be one of the worst-optimized games I've played. I have a demon PC rig and the amount of FPS I lose sometimes is ridiculous. I don't think this is on your end, the drop of FPS aka lag has to be on their end.
