This channel was about me sharing my beard journey. Now I have changed my channel to document my progress as a pipefitter apprentice. I’m currently in my first year as an pipe fitter apprentice in the United association. I’m out of local 344 in Oklahoma City. Hopefully my channel sheds light on being a tradesmen as well as motivate more people to pursue a career in the building trades.

@@a387658 I just had my interview this past Friday and I feel like it was my best interview I’ve ever had. I have no experience whatsoever for pipefitting but I did great on my Math assessment and the interviewers really loved my answers. I’ve been watching your videos so I can know what to expect and I’ve been taking in all your info on these videos man. 💯
Hey, thank you for the update (even though its 4y ago) its good info. Just wanted to share the Gospel that all men need, the Bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) this means we all deserve death and separation from a perfect and holy God. But God did not leave us for dead, He sent His only begotten Son to die in yours and my place, so that anyone who believes in Him and repents of sin will be saved from separation from God, and have eternal life! I urge you please put your faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him, He promises to save all who cry out to Him and have a humble heart. We arent guaranteed another day so we must repent of sin and seek Him today while He may be found!

I’m 28 years old working as a contract Recruiter and I applied to my local Plumbing union which I needed to go to another state for the interview. I was told they had no projects in my city, so I drove home bummed out. But I was called the next week and told that they have work in my area and I went through the process right away. My program doesn’t start till September but I’m going to be working for them on the job in two weeks or so. I’m working on completing my OSHA 10 course right now and then I should be on my way. Really nervous I’m going to F up or not good quality work, but I’m just going in with no experience I gotta remind myself of that.
I ment they had no projects in my STATE.
You will be fine. Just be a sponge. Ask questions
Good luck to you bro
@@a387658 thank you brother!! I’ll def take it all in.
How do i become a train conductor with bnsf? I live in new jersey
I don't think they have bnsf in new Jersey. I think it's CSX up there.

Quick question bro if u don’t passs conductor test in training what happens get fired r wat the 120 questions test they keep telling me about that we have to get 90 percent rite thanks
If you don't pass you have a. Chance to take the test again. You have to stay in overland Park for another week.
After you passed and were cleared in the background check for BNSF & completed your medical assessment. How long did it take to be notified if you were cleared in the medical assessment? Also when you got the official job offer, was it by phone 📞 or email 📧?
Not very long maybe a week at the most
@@a387658 thank you 🙏! Just feeling excited & impatiently waiting 😃, took my medical 🏥 assessment 2 days ago (morning to be exact). Thank you 😊.

I have a question do you use a beard brush? What's your opinion on using brushes on a beard? And do you apply beard products twice a day?
I use a beard brush when it's super low as it gets long I transition to a beard comb.

Any people in your Conductor Trainee class that were hired on as an alternate? I ask because I was made an Alternate right after my interview last week.
Not that I can remember.
@@a387658 thank you for answering my question 🙋♂️ quick. I been watching your videos, thank you for sharing & the knowledge and tips . I also watch that other BNSF Conductor KZread channel Tales , Trails & …… , also knowledgeable .
@@a387658 I passed the Physical Abilities Test for Union Pacific Railroad for the Train Crew position. Well for BNSF I was made an Alternate for Conductor Trainee last November. I was given a conditional job offer a few weeks ago . I completed the background check, just finished the medical assessment. What does BNSF’s Physical Abilities Test consist of?
Did you have to do a aptitude test?
No. I think the aptitude test depends on the individual local of the UA
@@a387658 The ua I want to get into does a mechanical aptitude test which sucks...
Hey man great videos! Good information for sure. Is this something you would recommend? How much work is out of town (for those of us with kids)
You'll start out on the extra board.
As you gain more seniority you'll get more of regular schedule
You'll probably get the occasional road trip if you work yard extra board. Just depends on what type of terminal you work at.
Thanks brotha! Keep making the content and I’ll keep watching!
I applied for I Indiana and Ohio railroad company and had a interview waiting on them to respond back to me 😊

20 years old & looking for a career out of CO would you recommend this to a young man like myself & hows the pay & lifestyle?

Did you quit?
No
You still at BNSF?
Yes I still at bnsf
Nice! I have applied, and passed the assessment. Just waiting to hear back now.
Since you are still there despite all the contract issues shows they must be a good company to work for. Or at least it gives more hope that they are
Good luck bro
Thanks
Was it easy to get hired?
No
What salary do they normally start you at?
Just depend on your area.
Does BNSF allow you to get on and off of moving equipment?
