Thank you for the shout out brotha! And yup I’m finishing up my 5th year! Graduation May 1st!.....but the quickest 5 years of my life...a lot of ups, and very few downs which actually turned out to be blessings! A lay off is the time when you are put to the test, which I’ve been there twice. It makes you more appreciative of your trade, so when you get back out there you’re out for blood(in a good way)giving a million%......you’re time is coming bro!.....I’m going to keep checking in with you, til then keep the vids coming bro, and thanks again!

Shawn P. Been awhile. I recently enrolled in hvac school. Skilled trade jobs are awesome. I seen you got laid off. I recently learned too that the hvac field does the same thing. It’s just part of the trade but hey, in reality our jobs aren’t ever going to be replaced by robots. So I feel safe that way. I hope it really works for you brother. Don’t give up no matter what. The off seasons aren’t too bad hopefully. We just have to learn to budget our income on peak seasons.

The lay offs will come and go and most of the time not based on performance, the wages as an apprentice based on state are pretty good, and if you keep in the trade you will come to see that if you are pretty good with your money then you will live comfortably. This is my opinion not looking to offend anyone I typed this very fast so if you need me to explain more let me know. I would love a update too on you though brother hope all is well I am currently in an apprenticeship program for Pipefitting myself and it’s crazy I would say having to deal with the school working then getting laid off and not wanting to depend on unemployment and waiting on a call for business agent to tell you where the work is and it being possibly far 1hr to 1hr half and you not knowing until you get the call also not being able to really decline work as apprentice too because your told you can’t and you don’t want to build bad rep around your name been reconsidering a lot lately though it’s definitely different experience for everyone and also the consistency is not there as much as you would think things change with short of notice leaving you to think if your not a company guy you will be outta work soon so yeah you got to plan for other ways to make money or keep going through with the same cycle of working then layoff unemployment or working odd jobs to keep up and pay dues my it looking to reconsider but your videos give me great insight
