Great vid brotha! I’m a 5th year apprentice. Yes tubing is copper pipe, but is technically called tubing...ACR (air condition refrigeration) copper pipe, is pipe that is measured by O.D. Outer diameter. I’m sure you guys were working with either pro press, or brazed fittings. The cutting torch is fun to used, cutting a nice bevel takes practice, but keep it up!!!Being a fitter is cool as hell!!!In any case I like what you’re doing bro, do you have a Instagram, or another platform you use?

Shawn P TV I think you should bro, reason I ask ,is because I’d like to send you some street wear apparel geared for Pipefitters(on the house), called FittersVault. I see you like to wear hats, and we have some cool looking joints to choose from. Is there a way I could contact you?

Depends on what you want to do. I actually got in for hvac. The thing is once you become a journeymen you can always go back to class to further your education with little to no cost courtesy of the union.

Pay depends on the hours per week. Starting out you possibly could make $1000 or more. Yes there is a waiting list once you interview.

My local only accepts applications once a year, I tell ppl to get into a welding course that will help them get their welding certification, which could greatly increase their chance of getting in....welders are NEEDED!! The pay varies depending on what local you apply for....1st year apprentice in my local make about $22/hr to start, journeymen $55/hr, but again it varies from local to local.

@@haywardmyers8464 yes ur definately right with the combinations. Some guys just like to yell and talk crap. Apprenticeship is down in numbers cause of stuff like that. To many thin skinned people. But it's good for people who can handle it cause the less people who know ur trade= the more $$ ur worth.
