Making me excited , I'm almost done with my welding degree , luckily my college has a program with the local union for me to take my stick and tig 6g test to get my certifications , then I'll be a 2nd year apprentice , wish me luck. How long are classes, how many months a year are classes, are u paid for that time, and what is an apprentice pay? thank you!

Classes are 7 months out the year. Classes last for 3 hours usually. Yes I was paid because I had to leave early to get to class.

Do you know if pipefitters work outdoors or mostly indoors? I do want to join an apprenticeship and maybe this is the trade I want to do. Thanks

Combination of both. It depends if you go into service or commercial.

I live in Las Vegas I called the local 525 office and they are accepting applications this January I hope I can get in I want to do hvac, for the past year I have been going to Hvac school at my community college CSN, by the end of 2020 summer I should graduate with my associates degree in air conditioning technology, is the math test easy?

The interview is what you have to really worry about to get in. The higher you score on that interview the better. Once you do the interview they put you in a pool of eligibles.

does plumbers union teach pipefitting?(is that the same thing). also I would like to know: what is the name of the associate degree plumbers can earn?(what is the title).

Im so anxious to start steamfitting man its crazy like dispatch is giving me a job to go to 4 tens. Man I hate to sound lazy but I’m constantly told it’s really hard on the body and environmentally tough. Am I just being a pussy or is it actually really hard work?
