You guys were short shifting the Porsche, and the lambo's run was bad, 11 seconds for the STO is an insult, you short shifted from 3 to 4, learn your gear shifting gentleman

Great comparison for a road trip, i tthink i will be sticking with my petrol /diesel car. We recently went to New Zealand and did a 3 week road trip about 5,000km (beautiful country). We hired a Hyundai Ioniq hybrid, nice car and did very well on fuel cost. No way you can do a trip like this with an electric car.
With the diesel you have to have oil change plus gear box, radiator and the brakes will not last as long. But, EV does does not produce hazardous emissions.
Haha amazing. In 2016 I started posting on loads of sites forums and KZread … why don’t EV cars simulate gears and torque and have clutches to give drivers the impression they’re playing with combustion power, what most drivers have learnt to manage. Now it’s happened! I should get royalties for my efforts 😂

Got one 6 weeks ago, 6000km later, love it. I actually like the simplistic interior. Easy to use even with touch buttons. Only let down is the front seats, need extra bolsters for better support. Otherwise brilliant medium sized SUV. Doesn’t drive or feel like an SUV. 👍

I'm looking seriously at getting the kona Hybrid. This colour? It's way out there, 😅 but I'll be looking at a toned down green or red😁 The main complain I hear, especially about the base model is, the engine struggles on the open road. True?

I’m lucky enough to have a wall box. We drive long distances each weekend. Mostly we know where the public chargers are. Sometimes it’s stressful but usually everything is ok. I’m in Melbourne. All I can say is it’s still early days. The infrastructure needs to catch up. People also need to be respectful. The more uptake will force government into action. Also if it’s so bad does that mean it’s a great opportunity for someone to do chargers well. It’s only a matter of time and competition is low.
