    Thank you so much! Your tip to mix the yolks until they turn a bright milky yellow before adding the oil made all the difference! I used my immersion stick blender and it worked wonderfully!!

    Thanks for watching! It does make a difference in my experience, u r right. It’s best to leave the egg in room temperature. I don’t have a hand mixer to do a small portion. I’m glad it worked out for you. :0)

    is it possible without the mixer? can i just whisk it or is that not good enough

    Hello, You can use a hand mixer, it’s better actually since you can make a smaller portion. Whisky by hand will take a longer time, yet I found a hand mixer or this mixer is easier to do.

    The Vietnamese mayonnaise is actually an aïoli - also referred to as Le Beurre de Provence - hence the Vietnamese often refer to the mayonnaise as Bơ.

    Thanks for checking out my video. I understand. Proofing bread is the most timing in bread making. Best hack is to get the puff pastries dough where you can park on it right way after it gets to room temperature.

    Am I the only one finding the dough extremely wet? I think I will not bother with recipes using cup sizes… just too hit and miss with US/UK cup sizes. Dont know why people dont just use weight measurements in grams or pounds

    that is not jam!! is just fruit spread, and too thick, is not translucent

  • @frenchcreekbaker136
    @frenchcreekbaker1368 ай бұрын

    In the United States of America jelly, NOT jam is translucent. Maybe wherever you are this is not the case? A fruit preserve is a generic term that includes jams and jellies. This is a wonderful recipe to use for filling pastries and cookies. Some people do like the clear look of jelly for their cookies. However, many people prefer sugar type of fruit preserve for baking because the fruit flavor is stronger and very flavorful. I suggest you try making this recipe. You might actually like this jam. It is excellent.😊

    Eggs are good for you, don’t believe the hype. Watch Dr. Berg. We make cholesterol. Eggs contain testosterone needed for men. Great for woman hormones, hair and bone as well. Society is trying to turn men into soy boys. The vegetable oil she uses is what should be avoided. It’s not a vegetable. It’s a highly processed seed oil that’s extremely inflammatory. Inflammation is the root to all diseases.

    can regular sugar be used instead of brown sugar.. Also does it taste good with less sugar? Like in making one loaf.. can 1/2 a cup be okay of regular sugar? I never made this yet. Yet I am not huge on sugar.. but want it still to taste good. Most have brown sugar... I don't really like that kind.
