The mushroom tarts are delicious and easy to do. It’s so good that you will eat more than one.
Ingredients:
1 -2 sheet of frozen puff pastry
( let it sit on the counter for a few minutes. It defrost fairly quickly).
8-10oz/pack of button mushrooms
5oz cream cheese
(I got mine at Trader Joes)
4-5 cloves garlic (chopped)
1-2 shallots (chopped)
A pinch of salt
1/2tsp dried oregano / fresh will be better
A few twigs of Fresh thyme to garnish
Parmesan cheese
1/4cup white wine
(No need to use an expensive wine. Chardonnay, Pinot gris or Sauvignon blanc will work. If you have left over white wine, use it) you can skip the wine part if prefer.
Baked at 400F for 22-24 minutes or until golden brown.
