Cold water feel really hard to me Cold showers I try often but takes time for me to get under properly. Ice plunge feels easier as I lower into it

I have been practicing every day. I can no hold breath for 1.5 minutes. Not sure if I am doing the right thing. Should I let the air out when I start holding my breath or before I let air out to start hold my breath? In other words, should I empty my lung before holding my breath or keep the air in my lung to start holding my breath for 1 minutes?
You should exhale first. But don't completely empty your lungs ❤ If you want to extend the breath holds just focus on the deep breaths, and filling your lungs
I really struggled with this to begin with too. Go as long as you can with you can on an exhale but don't worry if you can't make it all the way to a minute and a half it will come with practice. It did with me, good luck :)

I too felt dizzy at first, but stick with it as best you can. You will get past that feeling with practice.
That's totally normal at first. It's just more oxygen than your body is used to ❤

Wim, thank you for sharing your healing nature truths, and kind strong guidance. I have begun creating new habits of breaths, daily, cold shower Almost daily, and mind conditioning a.k.a. Meditation daily I think I am about 45 days in. Doing it for the joy of life, healing a "mystery" immune illness no doctor has yet been able to diagnose or help.... I can feel my internal life engine slowly coming back to life maybe in a deeper way than I ever have before… cheers 🥂 Wim ! 😊💛

Eu lembro a primeira vez que eu fiz essa respiração. Eu tinha entrado num site de cronômetro pra contar o tempo da respiração, esse site tinha um fundo que era um padrão repetitivo, uma arte abstrata. Quando eu terminei a respiração a sensação que eu tive era que esse fundo era uma janela para todo um mundo imenso e eu fiquei maravilhado essa imensidão
