@@roselinesuki6931 sure, this is my experiences doing 4 rounds per session. I found very quickly (4 days to 4 weeks) inflammation reduced in my body (for me, gums & abdominal) and I had more mental clarity around emotions and thought. After maybe 3 or 4 months the fat on my body completely rearranged and was in the places it's supposed to be and not where it isn't. All bodily systems seem to get into harmony and your health gets more and more solid overall. I can genuiniely feel my cardiovascular system has Greatly improved. When around people that are sick with cold flu etc, I never get ill. The charges... you HAVE to make the time, but it's only 15-20 mins (I now do 20-30 mins) and, I feel, WHM breathing is an energy practice, so be prepared to undergo some changes as you readjust to your body having a nice ctrl+alt+delete reset everyday. I have experienced and heard of others who say their ears ring more often (I've had that most my life) but it's momentary and doesn't do any harm or damage. The only other thing, if you are to take it seriously, is to know you start to use your heart alchemically. You should feel things easier to cope with emotionally and less anxiety in general, which can feel abit weird at first if you worry about things that's all! Hope this helps :)

I have experienced that when I sometimes have too many thoughts spinning around during the retention phase it automatically gets shorter, whereas when I am not distracted by the mind and just follow the feeling I can hold the breath for a bit longer. I think that length & quality of holding the breath also very much depend on how busy your mind is with thoughts and how much you follow the actual feeling.

Any how this new video provided some good information and put a huge smile on my face the whole while I was watching 😁 love you Wim and all the love happiness and power to you and your family! For me, the trick to holding your breath for 3 minutes is being able to relax my brain. I feel the tension to breathe in the lower back of my head. When I can hold it relaxed, I can get to three minutes. As long as I can focus on just keeping my brain from tensing, I can keep holding my breath.

My first time ever trying the Wim Hof method (2 days ago), I was able to hold my breath for 2 minutes, couldn't believe it, second day 2:30 minutes. First day cold shower, I didn't do the breathing prior, I struggled to stay in the cold shower for 30 seconds, second day, I did the breathing first, then easily did 2 minutes in the cold shower. Today is my 3rd day (and my 4th day of Fasting). I fast quite often and I have to say, doing the 4 day fast this time has been extremely easy - I have had so much energy - doing intense cardio sessions in the Gym with 3 days of no food. Unbelievable. I can't wait to work myself upto having the Ice Bath in the middle of winter. I wish I found Wim Hof years ago. Thank you Wim Hof.

@Ronathon02 - one more thing I forgot to mention. Try fasting over the weekend for your first 3 day fast, that way you don't have to worry about work, maybe start on a Thursday night (after dinner), then eat again on the Sunday night.. But try to do something to keep your mind busy and active during the fast.

Think of the both as a tool to cleanse your body. The breathing exercise is a broad sword. It will always have an impact in cutting through your emotional baggage/traumas. A broad sword will always have some kind of effect, that’s why is easier and more suited to our western culture. Meditation however is more like a scalpel. It usually takes more time and care but you can be way more accurate and aware of what you are doing within yourself. But that takes time to learn. Training, in a way. In the end a scalpel can have the same impact as a broad sword tho. Hope that helps.

Do you think it is necessary to do other types of workouts like lifting weights, other than the breathing and the cold exposure? Or would the breathing and cold exposure be enough of a workout if you do it every day?

Is it weird that I don't like the breathing part, it gives me anxiety but love the breath hold part. I find it relaxing when I am not breathing.

Nope I'm the same, I feel at peace on the breath hold, although might be because the breathing bit is harder.

Same here. The breathing part gives Me anxiety and Anger.. I have it:( does anyone know the reason?

@@joannakd5479 that is the purpose, you are putting your body into a stress response state and then training it to calm itself with the breath hold and mind relaxation. the benefits of the breathing also include the alkaline cleanse of your blood and reset of your system. so do not fight the anxious feelings when breathing, accept it and let it flow through you, then enjoy the peace of the breath hold and breath it all out once more.

Is there a variant of the breathing exercises or application of cold that helps older men with their typical complaints (prostate)?
