The old AM radios were good for listening out for tornadoes. By leaving them de-tuned at one end of the band you can hear the electric crackle of the approaching storm. Before weather warnings farm wives in the mid west would have one set up on a shelf in the kitchen.

Glad I found this video. Didn't think about my inexpensive O'Reilly wrench being way off. Never saw directions about cycling it before use. Will check how accurate it is now thanks to your vid as I use it to tighten my daily driver lug nuts. Only mechanical issue I have had with it was the top two black screws holding the head piece together came loose and out due to no locktite being on them. Was easy enough to screw it back together.

I absolutely agree with this, and I'd like to take it a step further, not only Walmart but all the auto stores will try to tell you that it's important to use the OEM battery, they will actually lie to you and tell you that it is needed for the control module to operate correctly, that is a lie. 12 volts is 12 volts period, and you can go online and check out what batteries are compatible with your car, you need to make sure the battery will fit in the battery compartment. I use the cheapest Walmart battery, I'm in Florida, I'm not worried about CCA, also, my batteries from Walmart last over 4 years, last one lasted 4 years and 9 months, please don't be fooled but these ja's just trying to make money for the company, just to make themselves look good. they lie.

What size compressor would you recommend for this. I'm able to figure out from the product details page the psi needs to be at least 100, but what about tank size and cfm? Sorry I'm not about to invest $1000 in the best compressor just for this thingy. Money trees don't grow very well in San Antonio, TX.... I hear they do a bit better out in Odessa.

Your test on the 3/8" drive version looks like it would be very easy to recalibrate, as it is off by pretty much the same amount at each test point, so it's just a straight linear adjustment that's needed. And most accuracy specs are measured as percent of full scale, not percent of reading, which would mean that the 3/8" drive wrench you tested meets its torque spec accuracy claim.

$350 for the boot Nope, I was wrong, but not by much. My father bought a 67 Citabria floatplane. We restored it, and I learned to fly before I learned to drive. The nearly immediate gear-up threw me, but you had trust that things would go well. And they did. How the hell did you mount a camera to the wing so it wouldn't come off? I'm going to have to go back and see the whole story behind this. I don't fly anymore, it's too expensive and I already have too many expensive hobbies. Kudos and congratulations.

the little dents in the track affect nothing, you dont replace all the rollers because one is bad, thats screwing the customer, and putting vice grips on the track the way you did is asking for door to blow past them if you really want to secure the door leaver operator connected and just unplug it.and all that clutch adjustment is useless just use the correct tool for the job....an impact! there is no need to remove the entire top roller fixture just use the roller holder only one sometimes two screws and you never ever remove screws from bottom fixture!!!! you use a pry bar and pop the roller out of the track to change it out the bottom fixture is what holds the entire weight of the door! you take the wrong screws out of that fixture and it will shoot skyward causing way more damage that a roller not to mention personal injury. with all that grease you put in the trolly it will be on the floor in no time. and to beat all you didnt lube the one thing that would of done the most good...the springs! you can put a a layer of vasoline on them every 6 months and they will serve many years. after spending 40+ yrs in the door business it never ceases to amaze me all the people who think doors are a good do it yourself project, and you didnt adjust the track either that was your biggest cause of noise.....im sure you think door works better but other than the top right roller there was nothing wrong with that6 door.....
