Thank you. This worked for my brother LX3817A, too!
Mine keeps popping out while sewing or it gets blocked
Short, sweet, very helpful. Thank you.
Can the bobbin casing become misaligned? I broke a needle and after replacing it the thread will not catch the bobbin thread.
I have, I believe vintage singer 15-91 books says (15CH models 1-11. I’ve watched your video (excellent guidance by the way) and did everything as instructed. I am having problems with the thread bunching up. I’ve checked the tension on the bobbin and that is correct. What am I missing? Please help. Thank you.
I am trying to use my athena 2000 (just like my mom's) that I bought on eBay and finally have time to put it to use. The bobbin is only threading a little bit and very sloppy. The eccentric screw that you have does not look like mine. I think someone may have replaced it along the way and used a washer to make it work. Can I buy just this screw and try it? I was considering going to your shop but I am in Wisconsin. I wouldn't mind the day trip but the return to pick it up would be a pain. Also my stitch length is NOT working at all. Would that be an easy fix?
I need a good sewing machine mechanic. Where are you out of? I have a singer athena 2000. a singer 7043 (imperial) and a singer 14u234....and a singer 99. I need someone I can trust. I'm taking a road trip in the fall and I don't mind traveling with them.
awesome ❤
Thank you for sharing this.
Thanks, you saved me. Frustration plummeting.
❤
I’ve followed this video but my bobbin tension is still really loose. Are there any other adjustments that can be made to tighten the tension?
Amazing ! A succinct straight to the point video. Some on here have taken 39 minutes to show that or needle timing ! Thanks !
And I sat there for half an hour trying to figure it out! Thank you!
THANK YOUUUU! I was looking for videos on how to fix this and nothing came up after 2 days of searching, I’m not sure if this guy is still alive or not but he really helped me out a lot because I thought I needed another sewing machine and I was stressing so bad, thank you so much sir for existing
What size hex tool do you use to loosen the set screw on the bobbin winder cam.? My set screw is smaller than 1/16. Where do you get the tool you use?
Thank you so much for this short tutorial. It was exactly what I needed to get my machine working again.
What a fine video! Simple, straight forward and clear. Thank you.
Great video you feed dog
i got one of these for free and just figured out why the gears that run the bobbin winder are distroyed any idea where i can get them or should i just 3d print them
Didn't fix my problem the black piece will not stay in.
Thanks so much for this video - I had no idea how I was going to change the treader.
Very helpful thank you so much i did this to my machine now it's working
I have to try this for my Viking. I couldn't figure out how to open it. Thanks!
I ended up having to part my model 758. I’m at the point now where I want to remove the motor. Do I just cut the wires as high up as I possibly can?
Camera is too far away to show anything.
Easy to follow. Knowing nothing about sewing machines I just set the feed dog timing on a Singer 6136 using this video. Thanks!
Thanks. It would be useful if I new (or you told) how to remove the plate to open this cavity.
Please I need guidance on my singer MERRITT 1862...can't thread it and if I try it doesn't work out
A close-up image of how the pin/hook should be aligned relative to the front and sides of the arms would be helpful for adjusting bent pins back into place. Ours got slightly bent and the hook is hanging up on the needle eye when retracting.
OH! That's what's supposed to happen.🤥
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!! Incredibly helpful - to the point & didn't waste time with unnecessary info. Major help!!
My button will not work to wind the bobbin. Help
I have a Singer Touch Tronic 2010 that has the bight mechanism (Part # 383981) not working so it doesn't stitch. I can't find any info on replacing it. It really looks too complicated for me to replace anyway. I was just wondering if you have ever known them to be replaced. Thanks
Thank you very much. Kind of you.
Esas letras no dejan ver!
How do we know with one to change
Can you help me troubleshoot. I have watched every video i can find. But the 2nd thing you took off the gear under the bobbin i can turn it with my finger but the bobbin house is not turning at all. Any idea what would cause that and what i need to do to fix it.
Would've been great if you had shown how to attach the wires.
How do I change a bobbin winder cam and a lifter bracket?
singer samba 4 lower coil holder???
Do you have a video for connecting the lead cord?
Hello. Thank you. What is the hook at 1 o'clock for? It blocks the thread and it is not shown in the instructions
This really helped me out with my T&S 626. Thank you so much
where is the part 2 on how to reassemble it?
Thank you for your video... I've been having some issues with upper thread, a mesage "Check and rethread the upper thread" but the thread is fine. I've noticed the handwheel has a bit of a play horizontally, so the main shaft moves and also moves the take-up lever. Is this normal to move sideways?
thanks! i could fix my pedal thanks to you
