Thank you so much for your excellent video. I didn't know I could lift up on the retainer bracket (or push it aside) to reinstall the metal bobbin case. Your instructions worked perfectly on my mom's 1963 Singer Slant-O-Matic 600. I appreciate your generosity in sharing your expertise online.

Thank you!!!! I literally spent hours trying to put the bobbin case back after cleaning and oiling! I looked at video and instantly the bobbin case slid into place. It seemed the take-up lever has to be at highest point for things to line up. Is that true or coincidence? Back to sewing like a dream! Thank you sooooo much.

Can the bobbin casing become misaligned? I broke a needle and after replacing it the thread will not catch the bobbin thread.

My 401a bobbin "lock" bracket won't snap in place, came off, and won't slide back in when I tried to push it back. It is not connected and came off completely. Any advice?

There is a clip you have to lift up to slide it under. Them it has spring tension to it

Do you have anything for a stuck bobbin on a singer 1411?

What was the oil you used?

Mine keeps popping out while sewing or it gets blocked
