Check out the following channels motor videos: Andy Tube; Vince J. Arcuri; SewSaveMe. They're called commutator stones, but you can use a soft polisher on a Dremel with some polishing compound. First try an eraser. Good luck. 👍

The timing belt in a Singer 750 is major work! It's a 2 hour job if you're experienced, 3 to 5 hours if not.
