But whatever you do.. Don't go to Vitesse. Looking at you Paxten..
Spain then after winning the cup FIRED the coach who devised their style of play.No good deed goes unpunished
Panama can be the surprise in this tournament but in the end our federation will stand out. 10 world cups combined and the best players on earth
NO! No position should EVER be locked.
They will play on turf.... He will play in the clouds
Fest is one of the US’s best players he’s up there with Pulisic, McKinney, and Reyna as dudes that are at another level above everyone else on the team. Those guys are balling out in Europes top leagues.
What does this guy know about the town of Missolonghi to call it a racist town? That town has probably more history than all of the speaker peasant predecessors put together.
I recall watching the match in high schl. Brasil coming from behind to win it. That win made Dunga think he can win the worldcup without Ronaldinho but he was tought a lesson by the Dutch. Luis fabiano,, Robinho Ronaldinho would have been perfect
Reminds me of fa cup in my country - the people’s cup
Let's make the 21st century model happen ⚽🥅🏟️
You are not at the level .
Columbus has nicer hotels than nyc.
Brahh
Ahahaha Joshy Sargent has been doing bits recently
A few problems I have. I watch the championship all the time, and idc what anyone says it’s a tough ass league. And currently still a little above MLS in strength of league, but I think lower level Italian, bundesliga etc teams would have a tough time In championship.. another problem is saying Dike scored 15 goals but was poor in Gold cup. He’s playing with different teammates he gets to spend maybe a few months a year total training together. There’s other factors involved when saying Dike had a bad gold cup.. lastly I will say Sargent 100% needs to be called up for nations league match, he’s the hottest American scorer we have right now..
#BoycottMLS
Considering that his Bayern team is wrapping the bed, this has aged great!!!
I always wonder why MLS doesn't have a promotion/relegation system?!
I want you to look at the sheer size of the US and Canada, then the distance between cities that can support pro teams. There's your answer.
@@bestlaidplans4511 Tha answers nothing?? Do you guys dont' have such thing called.. ahh... wait.. planes?? :D Have you ever heard of the UEFA Champions-League? Well.. its the top league in Europe for the best 36 teams out of their own national leagues. Besides that there is another cup called Euro-League, with another 40 teams! And... all travel all around Europe from far west Portugal up to very east in Aserbaijan! And also besides, you could have a promotion / rel. for west and east confernce (each 1) and a third team plays to matches (back and foth) against the best 3rd of league 2.
Why would any fan want promotion and relegation? It makes no sense. Nobody wants to see a historic team getting kicked out for fucking Norfolk
Vamos Chicharito
Disagree, with the National team, Charlie Davis was the second coming of Dennis Bergkamp.
The title of this video is "Why MLS needs Promotion/Relegation" - but there was maybe 30 seconds pertaining to this topic. Talk about click bait.
I miss Hollywood Heath Pearce
Now Richards is a mainstay in the Crystal Palace team
Berhalter might not cognitively be a racist, but he most certainly is metacognitively prejudice! kzread.infoPo1FrrG8VYM?si=EZ5rXrYJXLUZHiU-
Kehl former Cap, Legend and Director
Seb Kehl Former Cap and Club Legend and Club Director
Gio need to work harder thats it
And they brought stupid ignorant, Berhalter
Fucking delinquents
Keller made Jimmy cry 😭 Sad 😢 but Funny 😂
Does this guy forget how many Mexicans live in the us i would say that when Mexico plays in the US it isn’t even really an away game cause half the stadiums is Mexicans
I do wonder did the owner even try to seek a deal with Snapdragon Stadium? The San Diego Wave of the NWSL got that deal and drew great crowds. How did the Loyal not get the same?
Like what a lot said here in the comments the world caught up. Europe started to take it serious and now have leagues for almost all of the UEFA nations. Nothing to sue with the USWNT being “woke” since a lot of the other teams that played are “woke” as well. Numerous teams asked for better pay. So all those who cheered for the USWNT losing showed is they know nothing. The world caught up simple as that. And this World Cup had packed crowds for a majority of games. In the past if a women’s World Cup game was sold out it was either the host playing or the US was playing. England, Spain, France, Japan, Colombia, Germany, Sweden they had good support along with the US and both hosts.
what happened to this podcast?
Why this bum or any of the other former players that have no idea what they're talking about get so much air time, I'll never know.
Braindead take. Americans shouldn't be analysts for this sport when they don't understand anything.
Cade cowell just got his dual citizenship,. 😮 he could join Mexico or holland but he’s made his decision to play for the u.s which isn’t bad either 🇺🇸🇲🇽
MLS is not about growing the game. They are all about growing their business. If MLS truly cared about growing the game, they would be structure differently in a way that showcase that. The reason why the US Open Cup is not more popular is because we don’t have a true soccer division pyramid. If you even look at the sanctioning rules by USSF, you will see even they are making it near impossible for a top to bottom pyramid to form. USSF only care about what’s best for MLS and MLS only care about what’s best for MLS. You see how USSF did not hire a foreign national team coach after the last one hurt MLS’s feelings. Meaning, even the men’s national team is being held back by MLS.
You don't need to americanise everything. Football/soccer has it way world wide. Its only you lot that want to do it your way. And no club in the UK or Europe want anything like your system. That's why we dont watch it. There is nothing to it. And as for the super league crap, you all get the opposite outcome and the fans made sure it doesn't happen. In England the fans have already made it very clear that they will not accept any american interference in the leagues in the UK. Unless you do it like the rest of us in the world. Your game will only ever be US based and not very good like it is now. But you've tried to change the ethos to the game and make it work like your other sports. Well that's not how soccer works. Relegation and promotion is the only way. It only because the rich spoilt sods running american soccer want to monopolise it t for themselves. In the real world of soccer anyone can make it. But yours seems a bit off and unnatural.
The top 5 European clubs have around €10 billion in debt. Tax issues, court hearings, administration etc are issues we don't deal with in the US and Canada. The product on the field on MLS is below Europe, but slowly rising, and our financials are stable without the Saudis. European clubs cannot say the same, and their product isn't getting significantly better. At this rate, MLS has less need to change than Europe.
Damn. Griezmann got linked to use now
I JUST DIGURED IT OUT General berkhalter is the Biden of soccer.......Claro.....
Berhalter needs to go back to hogan's heroes and we ne we d a real manager if he can't see that pepi is the best striker. In the entire pool of players he is blinded by something...
Only a fool would not start pepi...He is the best talent ever to come from the USA.This. kid is going to change the usmnt .With him as 9 or 10, we will go far in the wc without him no chance.
Nice!
The potential for the sport to grow at all levels (there's no real soccer pyramid in America without pro/rel) just got stomped on by MLS trying to say its about us and only us (and we keep all the money). MLS just made the beautiful game as ugly as Don Garber.
MLS speaks of legacy and tradition and what do they do? Pull out of the oldest Cup in the USA and one of the oldest in the world. Why you may ask? Money. Disgraceful. With this decision looks like it’s time for Don Garber to retire.
I’m tired of the shade thrown at our best 9, Ricardo the goal Machine Pepi. Yes, he plays in a league most would rank as the 6fh strongest league. That being said, he’s scored as much as Balogun, who has started almost every game for a top League 1 side. He has to be fed perfect passes, and cannot create on this own. Pepi can do either. I don’t get the slight Pepi gets from the so called experts.
Sergino dest, balogun, gio rena, Anthony robinson, mckinnie, timothy weah, pullistic, tyler Adams, zimmerman, but tyler Adams must play fir this game to be balance
