This channel follows the creation of my expedition camper, and some of the products that I use to complete this project.
Just a quick thank you for all the positive feedback and subscribers to this channel. I started this to show some of my work to my family and friends since I live too far away to show them in person. I did not imagine so many people would be watching this project.

We’re do I get a pair of those construction flip flops .
those are Mill-Walk-ee brand 😊
what size plywood did you use for the side sheathing ?
Thought about headwind while driving? 🙄
Nice job , I think I might try the same thing ,thanks for the videos
good gawd. Why not use bags of concrete for your floor? That monstrosity looks chunky af
how much weight do you think this would hold on the top without the framed wedge-style tent frame on top, I already have a roof top tent to mount on top, Thanks!
Way to heavy, should have done 2x2 constructive, would have cut the weight way down!
How long did everything take you 🤔
do you have a blue print?
Awesome job
What hinges did you use? Your website does not work.
Your link does not work it goes to some virus looking website please remove
Yeah. I got the same when clicking on the link. Please remove the link. Nice job on the camper though!
Hello, congratulations. excellent work. Just a few questions, how many mm is the phenolic plate you use? and the racks are 2x3? thank you
You need a window in the back.
Would love to see the slowed down version awesome build
It was wonderful watching your children being engaged as well.
I have to say thats a great job. I like how you have your kids out there lending a hand. It brings me back to the day when i would jelp my Dad. Im😮i a Carpenter. Your roof idea was ingeniou. Great job. Good luck
with all the money you spent on parts and pieces. you could have bought a lightweight fiberglass one. geez. what a waste of a video !
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. Please do me a favour and don't ever let me hire you as an accountant.
Very nice job on this camper bro you did a really nice job I got a question for you that ladder that hooks to your tailgate I know this is a couple years old but could you tell me where you got that at or a model number or something I like to get one for my truck keep up to go work I appreciate you thank you
You should have sprayed white or a lighter colored bed liner buddy. The black absorbs Soo much heat. I be used it before on things like enclosed trailers and it's brutal heat. It's hard to dissipate the heat like that. Putting some sort of venting like on enclosed trailers would help too. How much did you end up spending on the build if I may ask? Great build bud. 😎👍
Would you be able to add another layer a few inches tall on top so an adult could also stand up inside? you could make part of it a sleeping loft, maybe install a sunroof? if you want to get real fancy. I love this design. Thinking about doing this to my 94 Ranger using 2x2s.
Have no idea what you attached with from the wood to the bed.
I’d imagine bolt and washer?
They look like clamps used for holding down camper shells.
Just found your videos and watched them all. Any further progress on this build?
Good job
This is a great video about how to get started with your build, very good.Trim the wood down to about 1/2x 1or2" and 2"x2" for structure, add a plywood or outer skin of your choise and you really have something,,,you designed and built.
No one ever shows how they make the roof top water proof
Way too much money on spray all that could just bought camper shell then added to it
Very cool build! I’m working on one right now, and started thinking about the amount of weight that’s going to be put on the bed rails. Did you ever come across any information regarding weight limits on the bed rails?
Great start and great father.
this is great! cracking up at your helpers! 🤣
I wish you would go into detail about how exactly we could build this. I appreciate the video, but I can only learn so much from it.
Now where is mine?? Jk jk. I love this! It's beautiful and great! You did an amazing job 🙂👍
Maybe some music in the edit, this was awful to watch. Great build thought
@@lukeandliz doesn’t have to be annoying, could use a ton of old punk music like the Faction or something, those guys ain’t gonna come after folks for copyright infringement they encourage folks to use their music. 😂
Also, just noticed those stairs for the tail gate! Did you make or rig that from something else, or is that an available accessory?
I have a Nissan with the same be rails and will be looking to do something similar in the spring. how are you mounting the rails to the bed? Nice work, inspirational, TY.
Ok what was that really bright light at 2:30 that started at the far right and seemed to come toward the camera. 🤔 The sun is out.amd bright that day but this was really bright 😎
Daddy it’s not cool now 😂 haha
Il 4x4 nella mia zona non ho mai visto la neve alta 4x4 consumi è manutenzione costi alti preferisco un carrello portacavalli nascosto dietro una mura
Did it rott yet
My favorite part is how you didn’t finish.
U are very good' with housings. Thank you.
That looks like it weighs a ton. How’s your suspension with that much continuous weight?
What degrees did u make the cuts for the walls
Figure it out.
Very nice build but no windows.
Absolute total waste of my time, and the video is like watching a 45 rpm record played at 78.
These videos were never meant to make it this wide over the internet. I only wanted to post them for family and friends to see while I was making it. I would have done another long video but since youtube doesn't want to acknowledge my channel I haven't really cared for posting anything lately.
Nice job, I also build one, you can check it out kzread.info/dash/bejne/dKKZ0sSriZTSibQ.html
Nice, I have a Titan too, building my own "bug out box". The one thing I wanted to see was the door, how to build it so that it's tight and weather proof against the tailgate but still be able to open the tailgate but you filmed from the side 😢
This is amazing 🤩
Just a tip for strength on the front end instead of laying down your first set of 2x4s over your cab you should have 2 2x4s with 1/2 plywood between them running over your cab in the side instead of flat if that makes sense.. for that extra support and wouldn't drop like it does. Hard to explain without showing a drawing but can't share pics on KZread lol looking great tho I have a 2500HD sierra I'm going to be doing something similar soon
Hey I'm building one also, can you give me the angle degrees measurements & length for the wood beams for the walls please?
