@sardu55Ай бұрын
I guess the ETRR has gone to sleep with the fishes. Hope that's not true and that someday it'll come charging back into our collective worlds. Been fun watching our own Walt White build a road out of the abandoned past. But from what I hear from the great state of Ohio the future of the line isn't looking too bright. Hope that's not the real and final story for this road.

Not long after this channel started, I suspected it was just a pipe dream and nothing would ever become of it. The reason: he constantly was underestimating the amount of work required on projects, and using equipment that wasn't big enough for the job. It would take him forever to accomplish anything. Instead of a channel about building a railroad, it's been more of a view of a guy playing railroad.

I worked at a boiler manufacture in the 80's and we shipped large boilers by depressed center flat cars. The manufacture, Cleaver Brooks has their own depressed flat.

Here it is april 2024 and I have just watched this program for the first time. Don't give up your wisdom is keeping me going. I love the rails and have a 10 x 10 room of model trains that I need to part with but for the past three years I just can't bring myself to sell it, so there it sits. I know of an abandoned track from Nacadoches Texas to Athens Texas and on to Dallas.hummmm Richard from Buffalo Texas.

Is that track in the fore lead to main or do you repurpose the of abandoned line to connect main for transfer intercange and passenger ? I think its a really good money make once your on the go for it good luck god bless and have a good one happy rail roading to you !

Hey Brian Thanks for your enthusiasm with old machines. I also have a JD350B which I inherited from my dear old Dad who passed 2 years ago. It was leaking water past the cylinder liners, so I’ve fixed that and it’s nearly ready to go. I’m 64, in Australia and have done all the work myself. Also have some Bitcoin! You’ve been an inspiration. Thanks again. Craig
