Hi there! Glad to hear that you like my videos! 😊 You might try using coconut cream as a 1-to-1 substitute for double cream. Please note that it will impact a coconut flavor to the cookies and let me know how they turn out because I never use this substitution before. Hope it helps! ☺️

Where TF is the pineapple?
An inappropriate and culturally insensitive comment. So easy to try and be smart. This is the name of a traditional bun found everywhere in Hong Kong.
Maybe the name comes from the look. The upside reminds me a bit on the skin of a pineapple fruit :)
Exactly where it comes from 😁👏🏼 You can score them before cooking if you want to enhance the effect. They taste great either way!!
Interesting question! Did you know pineapple buns are named for their topping, not the inside? They have a golden brown crust that's flavored and colored to resemble pineapple, but they don't actually contain any fruit. Still, they're a delicious treat.

Cake flour and all purpose flour are same.
Hi there! The main difference between cake flour and all purpose flour is the gluten content. Cake flour generally contains between 7 to 9% and all purpose flour contains between 10 to 13%. That means cake flour will produce much lighter and crumbly texture for your bakes. If you don’t have cake flour on hand, you can try using all purpose flour instead but I haven’t tried using all purpose flour for this recipe yet. Hope it helps! 😃

@@Hels-qk5bfIf you don’t have cake flour, you can make one cup of your own, add 2 tbsp of corn flour to the measuring cup and top it up with all purpose flour. Then sift thoroughly into the mixture. Hope it helps! 😊 But if it’s too complicated, just use all purpose flour instead. It’s because I haven’t tired it before, please let me know how yours turn out. Happy baking! 😉
