For a channel that does this so often it's sad to see you being so bias. Its blatantly obvious that you don't have the Tesla trail level. Which we all know isn't good for towing. Yet the ram is level AF and duh... running smooth. Just be honest and equal with your reviews. Take your negative personal feelings aside. If the Tesla can't perform that's OK. But just be real.

I thought you guys had an electric vehicle channel for the 3 or 4 people who are actually interested in these abominations. The rest of us already know that in their current form electric trucks simply will not perform the tasks we take for granted in our diesel and gasoline trucks.

Struggling to find any practical use for the cybertruck. There are dozens of vehicles which do most things better and offer more value for money. Wait till the cybertruck fad is over and the cost of ownership hits reality. Will. Will be able to give them away

What do those numbers mean for electric semi trucks? Are they similarly limited in range and charging times? EV's are great as daily driver when your commute to work is 30 miles. EV's are perfect second cars for families. Doesn't't need a big range, can be cheap. But work, towing, long range travel, off road are all challenging.

The singular question I have... in 2024... an electric truck touted to replace diesel... that can launch the damn space shuttle from the dash... still needs outside eyes to hook up the trailer??? That thing can't put a ball under a tongue automatically? Cybertruck, Tesla, Musk, and all of their fans, can suck it. Once they're done drooling, that is.

Incidentally, it's fairly well-known that Tesla have engineered the range-calculation to over-estimate at the beginning, and then approach a more correct value as remaining battery gets closer to 0%. It's on purpose. But for towing, it's kind of amazing they put out something this hilariously bad.

Imagine how useful the cybertruck and other similar electric trucks would be if they had a small single cylinder 4 stroke gas engine in the front that could dump like 5kw into the battery when it got low on charge so you could actually drive decent distances in all scenarios

You don’t get an EV for towing, everyone knows this. If you want something that turns tighter, has more ground clearance, can output 10kW of power, can still do Home Depot runs, offroad better than a 1ton, drive smoother than a 1ton, never get a dent in the body, secure belongings in a lockable tonneau cover, be McLaren fast, cost far less to daily drive, cost less in the long run because you can fill your “tank” for under $20 at home, and the list goes on. THAT is the benefit of an EV. And let’s face it, what percentage of drivers actually tow with their truck? TFL will only do comparisons that are a disadvantage to the Tesla truck. A 1ton and the Tesla truck aren’t even in the same category for shitsake. Let’s see the Ram 1 ton face off in a drag race or offroad battle, or daily driver cost comparison with the Tesla Truck. I’m done with TFL.

Wrong tool. Now, if you want a light-duty truck that you can take off-road AND to the drag strip where it will pop off consistent times until the battery dies, it's the correct tool.

The battery in the Cybertruck weighs 722% more than the Diesel fuel in the truck, yet the Diesel still has far greater total energy, and energy density by volume. It is essentially impossible for any reasonably well-engineered diesel to lose to the Cybertruck in terms of towing range.

Just one question. How flat was the route? Going uphill, downhill, or just flat? For me it was not clear if this was a round trip or one way. If one way and up hill, results will not be representing the complete truth. Round trip will.
