Maybe just a cheaper option for the area but we had 6 or 7 of these high rollers coming in for basic maintenance and nothing more. Plenty of 200K + 5.3L too, but no where near the 400K mark...

There are many years where less than 10,000 Land Cruisers get sold here in the United States. By comparison, Expeditions and Tahoe/Yukons are regularly close to 200,000 a year.

@@Velanestar 100% correct. I own a GMT400 Yukon and a ZJ Grand Cherokee. My Dad owns a 100 series Land Cruiser. Every small town Napa auto parts store has always had parts for my vehicles. Whether at home or out in a rural area, I have never had to wait for parts for either of my vehicles. However, on three occasions now, my Dad has been stranded in small towns because stuff broke on his LC, and it was a 3 day wait each time for parts. And when things have needed to be replaced at home, more often than not he's had to wait a few days for parts.

@@ThePioneerSpirit my c4 Vette needs like 20 different parts replaced right now. It's about $750-1000. (Things like a new alternator, brake bads and rotors, temperature sensor etc etc) I did the same for my wife's Toyota(just to see), not only more significantly expensive, but a lot on back order/shipping from over seas. It's insane.

Need to do a fix it part where something 'goes wrong' and lets see how easy it is to get the part and how much it costs to fix it and if the owner is actually able to fix it. :) I love the toyota however the simplicity of the GM is pretty well deserved.

I was driving a 1970 Cutlass “S” in the early mid nineties. Just a base model with a 350/250 had a/c ps/pb. Was an excellent vehicle. I had myself convinced that the vehicles manufactured in the nineties weren’t all that. I was wrong.
