Sixty something years after independence and Nigeria cannot carry out project like this by itself what a shame. You will always see a white or a Chinese man leading the project no matter how small it is. As a country that refers to itself as the giant of Africa this says a lot. We have a really long way to go in a very short time, and believe me the world isn't waiting for us or anyone, and it (the world) will do it absolute best to make sure that this doesn't happen. It is now up to the African people to fight back and believe me i am ready to side with the devil to win this fight.

Mtchew! For how long are we going to continue to wait for all these to be completed? These are projects introduced by Fashola since 2008, more than 16 years ago. With all these huge money that is being generated in Lagos State, no capital projects to match up. Every year, we keep hearing about Rail-lines. No new health, education, sports and tourism infrastructures. Lagos can not boast of world class Stadium and event centers. Gone are the days when we use to enjoy free quality education in Lagos State. That was in the days of Jakande and the military governors; Mudashiru and Mike Akghigbe gave us world standard class rooms. Buba Marwa tared all our streets with Direct Labour and provide street lights. Despite the fact that Lagos was still enjoying the privilege of being the Capital city. Today, nothing close to that. Today, there are over 1000 streets in Lagos State with beautiful houses but no street roads and street lights at all, the masses are now contributing money to tare their own street, install their solar street lights and also provide security for themselves. If not for the private sectors, the State governments are doing nothing. Tge Oshodi Bus Yetminsl abandned, Lagos Badagry Express Road abandoned; These road is more important than all these things you're advertising here. The road would have completely upgrade Lagos State to another level. Lagos State started the BRT and the rail lines projects before the East, North and some Southern African countries but today most of them have completed theirs years ago, covering the length and breath of their countries at cheaper cost.. Tanzania have even upgraded to electric trains last month but 99% of Lagosians doesn't even know what the blue and red line trains looks like. These are country that are far poorer than Lagos State but are more advanced infrastructurally.

Since when did the French start getting assigned contracts to improve Lagos ? French enterprises and state have never had any good intentions for the progress of Africa go look at any French colony in Africa. I think Lagosians really need to look into what ever proposed value they are promising to provide as contractors, I bet u it’s not in the interest of Lagos developmental progress, they are in the business of pillaging.
