I wonder why anything located in Agbado lags behind, even the beautiful station built by the federal government is just laying fallow, the roads are horrible, the area is an eyesore, the people there are fierce looking and scarry, moreover I heard that one overhead bridge is billed for fagba junction, Iju ishaga Axis had always been abandoned by government since 1999, probably they vote for the opposition a lot

Really, but there’s a lot ongoing around that area. Though Ogun State government needs to do a lot around that side. The bridge been constructed presently is at Iju by the Iju Ishaga Memorial Arcade but there’s another one expected to be constructed at Jonathan Cooker also.

Lagos state practically gifted the overpass and Agbado Redline station to Ogun state because that whole area is practically Ogun state. In fact I passed through the area where the overpass which is located and noticed it had been completed, funnily the road where this overpass is located is in disrepair and shambles; maybe Ogun State is waiting for Lagos state to come and build the road for it. The area where the Lateef Jakande Train station for the Lagos - Ibadan train service is located (Agbado Oja/ Crossing) is so dirty, unkempt, rough and notoriously filled with shady people, The NRC I'm sure doesn't care about its facilities there. Back to the #Redline, I am sure LAMATA took a painful decision to build the overpass and train station in Agbado because it is well aware most residents in that area work in Lagos and it'll to an extent serve the Lagos residents who stay on the outskirts areas such as Ijaiye, Kola, Abule Ẹ̀gbá, Meiran axis. Ogun State is so messed up, a state should been tapping into its proximity to Lagos the way New Jersey is benefitting from New York. So sad.

My concern is that Nigeria doesn’t have a system or design. This is a government project costing tax millions of dollars payers money so why not design to global standard and design? At least something futuristic that 50-100 years to this time it’d still be in vogue other than basic renovations like painting. Many of the Nigerian projects in different states are now being said to have defects like the airport in Akwa Ibom costing around 62 billion 😮 even for an airport that’s not required in a state without international traffic buzz etc
