Tour Of The Yaba Train Station Of The Lagos Redline Rail || The New Lagos Metro Rail Line
In this video, I will be showing how the yaba train station of the Lagos Redline looks like. I will be showing everything you need to know about the yaba train station and all the facilities within the train station though works is still ongoing inside the station as at the time of recording this video.
Yaba train station is one of the train stations for the newly commissioned Lagos rail mass transit (LRMT) / Lagos metro which is the second metro line to be completed in Lagos state, Nigeria. The station is located at the center of Yaba Lagos which gives the station access to the yaba BRT bus terminal as there’s a bridge that links both.
The Lagos Red Line rail is going to be a game-changer in the transportation landscape of Nigeria's most populous city. Spanning approximately 37 kilometers, this transformative initiative connects various neighborhoods, businesses, and communities along its route. The first phase of the project was recently commissioned by the president of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the 29th of February 2024. Among the pivotal stops on its route are Oyingbo Train station, Yaba Train Station, Mushin Train Station, Oshodi Train Station, Ikeja Train Station, Agege Train Station, Iju Train Station and Agbado train stations.

So how many stations really complete 100%?? Becz this is good project and game changer for Lagosian and Nigerians in general..

I have stated this in some of my previous videos even before commissioning. All the stations are around 90% - 95% completed except Yaba and Agbado stations. Yaba should be around 80% completed while Agbado station is just around 10%.

Rather than using blocks as a demarcation,they should have used metal (railings) such that people can view inside the train station from outside.
What's The Progress Of Work On The Agbado Train Station? Kindly Do A Video On The Status Of The Station.
Why did they commission this when it looks clearly like it is a work in progress?

Even when operations starts fully, there would still be work in progress. The commissioning just means that major works have been completed, so they can start testing for operations. Which would be in 2 to 3 months from the commissioning date. So they still have time to round up.
