The times when you crest a hill with lungs craving oxygen , and there sits a cirque lake , or a huge peak or view. A cold night sharing a fire , with stars blinking from light years away. When you don't regret the sore feet , as your mind throws off all it's extra clutter, and the grandeur of it all takes effect. It's at those moments that your soul has changed. I was fortunate to have been the District Ranger for a little over 6 years responsible for managing the South District of Grand Teton National Park which included all of the backcountry you traversed. I have been retired for years, but have hiked that loop many, many times. You brought back so many memories! Thank you for sharing your experiences. So glad you all enjoyed your experience. As you shared in your video, hiking in such wonderful places helps all who do so to maintain a better perspective of how we fit in to these special places and certainly enriches our lives at the same time. Taking the time to understand nature and the natural world leads to appreciation. Appreciation leads to protection so that those that follow us can enjoy, understand, appreciate and protect these special places so that those that follow us have opportunities to experience what we have in the future. Thanks again for sharing your experiences, your thoughts, and imagery of these special places in such a well-done fashion. By the way-I understand so well the "burger and beer" thought you shared at the end of your journey. Look forward to seeing more of your adventures. Well done.

The weather Gods were in our favor. We caught a 3 day window with no wildfire smoke and peak flower conditions. This hike was done middle of July. Highly recommended. Thanks for stopping by the channel!🙂

Serious? First I get a video with a thought provoking message from Joe Dispenza, then a spiritual one from Ram Das, then a motivational one from Matt McConaughy, now Allan Watts? Shit, the lessons continue…

Awesome! Getting a sense of who you are I share this video with you. When researching the Kings Canyon High Basin Route I came across this video which struck an accord with my deeper self. I think it will resonate with you. Gotta love Ram Das! kzread.info/dash/bejne/poSFx62ehayucqQ.htmlsi=Lf-MS4qX_dJLwAwr
