Knocking off another item on the ole bucket list with this one. Grinnell Lakes has been on my list for a loooonnng time. I remember seeing pictures of this place in high school thinking "How can a lake be that blue?" I have to say seeing it in person is even better than pictures I ever saw. Thee most beautiful lakes I have ever seen. Grinnell Glacier was so impressive. To be able to feel the cold and see the power of it was very humbling. I fell in love with these mountains while on my trip. They are special. I know I will be coming back for many years to come.
BTW- I created a new color for these lakes. This color is now called Grinnell Blue since I can't quite put my finger on its actual color.

Don't wait until death to do the things you love. I know after knocking this item off my Bucket List it sure feels good. I would hate to be on my deathbed knowing I had never seen the blue of Grinnell Lakes. I would encourage all of you to make your own bucket list and find a way to make them happen. No deathbed regrets!!!
