I am a practicing Dhrupad vocalist and a student of Shri Sanjeev Jha, and Padmashree Gundecha Brothers. My humble pranams to my gurus and my father - my first guru, for showing me this path of knowledge and realization and allowing me this experience of a lifetime.

Sanskrit pronunciation requires much more improvement. You need to understand the difference between short u and long ū know as hrasva उ and deergha ऊ . Words are putro, putree , not pootro pootree etc. Similarly it is gatistvam, not gateestvam. Short vowels have been needlessly stretched here leading to chhandobhanga. The entire ashtaka is written in Anushtup metre, which is a specific scheme where the lengths of the vowels being correct is extremely important.

আহা! কি অসাধারণ গায়কী।কন্ঠের ভাজ। দিদি একটা প্রশ্ন ছিলো। আলাপের মধ্যে এই সিলেবল গুলো কি কি ব্যবহার করেন যদি জানান বুঝতে সুবিধা হতো। আমি ধ্রুপদ শিখতে চাই কিন্তু আলাপে যে সিলেবল মানে রিরেনাতানা এই শব্দ গুলো বসার যে নিয়ম রি এর পরে রে বা না বসার যে নিয়ম এটা জানতে চাইছি। যদি রিপ্লাই দেন খুব উপকৃত হবে। জানতে পারবো।
Namaskaar Happy to learn of your interest in dhrupad. These syllables are taken (like beej akshara) from a mantra which we consider the mool mantra of dhrupad. My gurus created a system of using them which I follow. But mostly all dhrupad vocalists use these according to some patterns or rules, depending on who you are learning. Wow thank you for sharing. If I may ask what website is this? This is interesting. I have the same composition in Multani and I also have it in Yaman Kalyan in one of the traditional manuscripts. There are a few compositions like this where the same poetry is floating in different ragas. Wonder how one can find the authentic source. Fascinating nevertheless 😊🙏🏽

Is it Gahar bani dhrupad?
Our school is technically the Dagarbani This bani focuses on correct intonation, simplicity, purity, and structure. But I do feel that there could be an influence if the Gohar or Gaudiya bani which has been described be scholars to have long, smooth, and straight meends, slow rendering itself to the feelings of relaxation, peace, and divine pleasure.
