What is the sweater your wearing? That color is so beautiful and looks great on you!😊 The pattern is so delicate, I would love to know the pattern and yarn used😊 Blessings to you and your family!!😊🌸😊
So glad I found you! I love your esthetic !
I ❤ Isabelle! She is adorable with her embroidered eyes. I would embroidery the eyes also. You can use the extra yarn for baby hats, mittens, booties and socks for baby. I just knitted a teddy bear for my mother who has Alzheimers. She loves it. I am making a sweater now for the bear. Your quilt blocks are beautiful. We call the grid blocks "nine patch." Because there are 9 squares. You are doing a great job on your quilt.❤
I need urgent help right now: when you put the stitches in the scrap yarn you say the 10 new stitches but it looks way more than ten. My 10 stitches are way too small for a thumb :/
Crochet hooks are essential.
I’ve knit with about 5 different brands of mohair and have to say Lana Grossa’s mohair is superior. It is lush, so I always go to it first. The colors are great, too.
Thank you! I just frogged five projects and I feel so much lighter. Now I can focus on the projects on my needles that bring me joy.
Love this!! I haven't even watched the video yet. All I saw while scrolling were the pics and I was immediately hooked😅. It's the fact that it looks like it'll fit comfortably, and bonus!!, no sharp peaky back end. Just smoothly following the shape of the head. Oh, I am going to have so much fun with this, thank you!❤😁
Thank you. This tutorial was most helpful.
What colourway is your jumper please?
Bethany i can’t find the Clay cardigan pattern, can you put up a link and report sizing? thanks! love your videos!
So cute! Love it ❤
I love this! I actually keep a granny square from each project I make and plan to use it in wall art. I love the linen backing idea!
Beautiful ideas <3 Can you show us the link of the tutorial video about the granny square, please?
I like the ideas ❤
The gingham gathered piece could be done by hand by making running stitches.
Love these ideas and how simple they are! 😍
Great idea. Really like your pieces
I love your musik choice❤
英語がわからないけど、見てます! いつも作るニットがかわいい🩷
I watched when you first started the mohair sweater and thought it looked gorgeous so I'd definitely have voted for you to finish it and gift it (or donate or sell) to someone who would 🧡 it. Anyway that alpaca yarn is lovely and suits you so, please use it - perhaps for a simple vest or short-sleved top or a small wispy scarf? You can alternate taking variegated yarn from both ends of the ball so you reduce the striping. The "chocolate" colour also really looks great on you. Worth finishing. BTW, not related but your hair looks fabulous.
I'm in the process of investing in a set of Seeknits :). I was going to order the 5" ones but after seeing your video, the 4" ones seem to make more sense. If you were to purchase for the first time, would you go with the 4" over 5" lengths? Or maybe those sizes below 5mm, it'll be better to purchase the 4"?
I have bought the pattern for this jumper but I do not feel it is beginner friendly. There is a lot of assumed knowledge
I’m tuning into this video a month later and I can only imagine that you worried more than necessary about circumstances around a broken leg and welcoming a new baby. I would imagine that hindsight is a lesson in focusing on what is good and possible, otherwise you will surely attract all that you fear and dread. Just remember that just voicing your fears and apprehension about the future will attract exactly what you do not what. This was painful to watch. Best to you and your growing family.
I want to make it for my twins 👯♀️ grand daughter’s, age 10 but one is taller than the other so i need to make two different sizes 😅
Please! I like your sweater and im going to make it,
Bethany, your hair is stunning. I adore red hair! Thanks for another SUPER fun and entertaining video!
Im Making a sweater for the first time can you tell how to choose the size approximately like number of Stichels to begin with anf how many rows of knitting in the body !
I’m wondering, how does your baby react to those yarn textures? Do you use any special kind of fiber to knit baby items? I’m interested in making baby clothes
Beautiful onion dye and it matches the color of your hair. I would like to try this.
The chocolate sweater is too pretty to frog, seam the edges and stuff it with pillow filling and gift it to your cat LOL
Thanks so much for this video! I just had a wisdom tooth removed this morning, so it was very encouraging and yes, uplifting! to hear you talk about this. I am praying God to give you the grace & strength to navigate this tough season well, and find the joy throughout. You're dong a great job, Mama!
Consider wearing garments made of baby alpaca, they are beautiful and last a long time.
waw thats so so beautiful i think every mother should try the feeling to knite for her baby borne
Great Video. Can you give a review of super wash yarns?
Ahhhhh!!! I saw in your most recent video you were pregnant and had to jump back to watch these videos. We were pregnant at the same time with our firsts and now Im pregnant again! Lol. I feel EXACTLY the same about the second and I can’t believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by. I hope you have a beautiful and healthy birth 🩷
I found a 95% done skirt that got put away 11 years ago and actually finished it off earlier this year.
Great video as always, it always feels so good to get rid of a few lingering projects! I couldn't finish cardigans either until I started making them in the round and steeking. I don't know why as I don't mind purling but maybe it was just reaching an end point (end of row) so often but feeling like I wasn't getting anywhere with each one. For the colour stripes I also had a yarn with long colour repeats which I only realized after caking it. I ended up mixing the stripes by using two balls and starting on opposite colours then helical knitting, resulting in microstripes that blended together better for me. Maybe that would work with your pink/grey sweater?
I and knitting cardigans were no match, but KUTOVAKIKA patterns/ book made me make them . And on KZread you can knit togheter with her tutorials so you feel not alone on the proces . Xxx
How is your experience with merino wool cotton mix yarns (like 50% merino, 50% cotton or 70% merino, 30% cotton)? Do you also feel your pieces wear out fast?
The last one feels like we are gonna see it in next years UFO video x) In regards of cardigans, mabe steeking would help ? Or a more involving texture, llike the penny pattern from petiteknit, or lace details ? And the chocolate kntit looks sooooo good please let us know if you pick it back up !
Finish that sweater! Its such a lovely color. My goal is to get my several WIPs finished and then only have 1 crochet project, 1 easy knit project and one knit project with more thinking required at one time.
Just a thought, Bethany - haven’t been watching you for very long so I don’t know if you’re into color work? However, you might be more successful in getting a cardigan by knitting a color work in the round and then steeking it. It sounds like you have more motivation for knitting in the round, so this might be a way to get yourself a cardigan…! As I said, just a thought. Take care!
I tried looking at your squarespace, and it's pruvate??
I know you are more of a knitter, but maybe that beautiful mohair/fluffy yarn might be fun in a crochet garment? Since the crochet stitches might pool the dye more vs stripe it? Just an idea since it is such a fun and pretty yarn and I know you love working through your stash!!!! :)))))))))))))))
It’s the Inclinations shawl. Do it!!! It’s one of my favorite shawls and I love shawls with small kids. Instant blanket!
And I'm pretty sure the yarn is Manos Del Uruguay Feliz!
the shawll pattern is the inclination shawll!!
Ooh definitely finish the chocolate jumper!! It’s gorgeous!! 🤎
Your whooville sweater would look nice in seed stitch. It will break up the stripes. As an alternate, I would make the rocket t withe alternating cream colored stripes.
will truly buy your yarn used for the no frills sweater - I love that combo so much!
