I ❤ Isabelle! She is adorable with her embroidered eyes. I would embroidery the eyes also. You can use the extra yarn for baby hats, mittens, booties and socks for baby. I just knitted a teddy bear for my mother who has Alzheimers. She loves it. I am making a sweater now for the bear. Your quilt blocks are beautiful. We call the grid blocks "nine patch." Because there are 9 squares. You are doing a great job on your quilt.❤

I need urgent help right now: when you put the stitches in the scrap yarn you say the 10 new stitches but it looks way more than ten. My 10 stitches are way too small for a thumb :/

I’ve knit with about 5 different brands of mohair and have to say Lana Grossa’s mohair is superior. It is lush, so I always go to it first. The colors are great, too.

Love this!! I haven't even watched the video yet. All I saw while scrolling were the pics and I was immediately hooked😅. It's the fact that it looks like it'll fit comfortably, and bonus!!, no sharp peaky back end. Just smoothly following the shape of the head. Oh, I am going to have so much fun with this, thank you!❤😁

I watched when you first started the mohair sweater and thought it looked gorgeous so I'd definitely have voted for you to finish it and gift it (or donate or sell) to someone who would 🧡 it. Anyway that alpaca yarn is lovely and suits you so, please use it - perhaps for a simple vest or short-sleved top or a small wispy scarf? You can alternate taking variegated yarn from both ends of the ball so you reduce the striping. The "chocolate" colour also really looks great on you. Worth finishing. BTW, not related but your hair looks fabulous.

I'm in the process of investing in a set of Seeknits :). I was going to order the 5" ones but after seeing your video, the 4" ones seem to make more sense. If you were to purchase for the first time, would you go with the 4" over 5" lengths? Or maybe those sizes below 5mm, it'll be better to purchase the 4"?

I’m tuning into this video a month later and I can only imagine that you worried more than necessary about circumstances around a broken leg and welcoming a new baby. I would imagine that hindsight is a lesson in focusing on what is good and possible, otherwise you will surely attract all that you fear and dread. Just remember that just voicing your fears and apprehension about the future will attract exactly what you do not what. This was painful to watch. Best to you and your growing family.

Great video as always, it always feels so good to get rid of a few lingering projects! I couldn't finish cardigans either until I started making them in the round and steeking. I don't know why as I don't mind purling but maybe it was just reaching an end point (end of row) so often but feeling like I wasn't getting anywhere with each one. For the colour stripes I also had a yarn with long colour repeats which I only realized after caking it. I ended up mixing the stripes by using two balls and starting on opposite colours then helical knitting, resulting in microstripes that blended together better for me. Maybe that would work with your pink/grey sweater?

How is your experience with merino wool cotton mix yarns (like 50% merino, 50% cotton or 70% merino, 30% cotton)? Do you also feel your pieces wear out fast?

Or a more involving texture, llike the penny pattern from petiteknit, or lace details ? And the chocolate kntit looks sooooo good please let us know if you pick it back up !

Finish that sweater! Its such a lovely color. My goal is to get my several WIPs finished and then only have 1 crochet project, 1 easy knit project and one knit project with more thinking required at one time.

Just a thought, Bethany - haven’t been watching you for very long so I don’t know if you’re into color work? However, you might be more successful in getting a cardigan by knitting a color work in the round and then steeking it. It sounds like you have more motivation for knitting in the round, so this might be a way to get yourself a cardigan…! As I said, just a thought. Take care!

I know you are more of a knitter, but maybe that beautiful mohair/fluffy yarn might be fun in a crochet garment? Since the crochet stitches might pool the dye more vs stripe it? Just an idea since it is such a fun and pretty yarn and I know you love working through your stash!!!! :)))))))))))))))

Your whooville sweater would look nice in seed stitch. It will break up the stripes. As an alternate, I would make the rocket t withe alternating cream colored stripes.
