I loved everything about this video! I loved how involved little Arthur was and how interested he was in the yarn! This was a really special thing. It was also very interesting to see you accomplish something like this and maybe make us all a little braver to tackle something like this!

Bethany this is inspiring! I am nearly done with my Terrazzo sweater, but am hesitant to knit the turtle neck collar because it'd be less wearable in California. This gives me the courage to knit it right the first time and just do the folded collar I know in my gut that I wanted to do! Thank you!

I had some life stuff happen, so I completely got out of the habit of watching all my favorite knitters on youtubers. I am floored by how big Aurther has gotten!!!! I'm glad you shared this project. It's not small, it's making something well-loved again. That's pretty big!! Thank you :)

Thanks much for this video. Nice to see how a small change can make something even more cherished and used. We need the reminders that small fixes, however irksome or exasperating, can have a major effect. And much better done before the small pile becomes a mountain. Excellent job.

I just made my own sweater alterations, and I’m so glad I took time out to do it. I needed to even out my sleeves (one was too short) and I was unhappy with the cuffs. Now I can finally put this sweater, which I finished in 2022 and hadn’t really worn at all, into my wardrobe.

I love this video, taking things slow and appreciating what you have instead of churning out new things all the time. I actually shortened the neckline of a store bought sweater last week, and now I wear it all the time. I didnt have time to knit a full item, but I could still apply my learned skills to get an item I really love and I was very proud of it. You did a better job though, I should have waited for this video haha ;)

I truly enjoyed everything about this update. Simple is good. I believe we often complicate our lives more than is necessary of healthy. Little Arthur reminded me of times I involve my grandchildren in my crafts. I like to involve them in the process so that they appreciate the end product! My 5 year old granddaughter wound the yarn, turned the crank on my circular sock machine, and held the balls of yarn when I added toes and heels for her socks. She was even with me when we bought the yarn! The new collar looks so nice on you. I'm sure it feels much better without all the bulk up to your chin! And of course I love the color, as my granddaughter's name is Violet!! Hugs.
