I love that green colour woolyknit cone! I discovered woolyknit through your knit-along last year and have knit quite a few things in WK+mohair since and is now my go-to yarn combo! Ursina by Jacqueline Cieslak is a really fun construction and I found to be a pretty engaging knit, it was the first pattern I knit where I finally understood what podcasters are taking about when they say they enjoy the process of a knitting project 😂

The yellow totally suits! As does the green and do it with a zipper. Hint-you look good in yellow undertones.

Hey Bethany I am a long-time viewer from Venezuela based in Germany. I am enjoying the style of vlogging you have honed, you can tell that you are much comfortable being spontaneous, love the realness. From your projects I was very inspired. I started knitting during the Pandemic when I gave birth. I am scared of knitting an all over cable jumper, but you make ist seem doable to me so now I want sweater nº 15 to be my next cast-on :)

I had the same issue with the Italian cast on when using circular needles, decided it was just too hard, so bought some cheep long straight needles and it was a game changer. Did a brilliant job first time.

It's great that the yarns you knit with seem to go so far. I get a bit disheartened when patterns for DK knits for women seem to need so many balls for medium size sweaters. I feel I need to look around more at different yarns. Being in New Zealand all the European and Italian yarns are around $16 NZ per ball which makes enough for a sweater at least $100-$120 NZ per garment which seems a lot. (Btw I have been knitting on and off since 1981, lol). The range of yarns is huge now compared to then of course 😊

I was also really adamant about not knitting an Ingrid sweater (I wasn’t actually a very big petite knit fan overall 🫢) but then I knit one up using fishermans wool at the beginning of the year after seeing it all of my Instagram feed and I LOVE IT, it’s my favorite sweater I’ve knit both process wise and finished object wise, so I don’t think I’ll ever say “I would never knit that” again 😂 I love the way the yellow on yours is turning out, I can’t wait to see it finished! I’m also knitting a yellow sweater, but in the opposite direction of going for more of a mustard for the Lucca Cardigan by the knit purl girl, and I think the Andalusian stitch she uses in that pattern could be really nice for that green sweater you want to knit, that’s very similar to stockinette but gives it a little bit of texture that’s a little more fun to knit!

I am sure your Erika Sweater will be very useful. Holes can be very warm as they hold the heat. You could wear it over a thin long sleeve tee and you’ll be well cosy. I love the green yarn and it will suit you so well. ❤

great video! I kinda missed your longer podcast episodes I recently finished the Favorite Flannel be Alicia Plummer and I thing it would be so beautiful in the green color. it's kinda the opposite of what you mentioned since it's a textured raglan sweater, but the texture is so subtle and somehow both easy to knit and super addictive. i really recommend it :)

I have a mega Erika jumper as well and the holes are actually useful! The sweater is thick so it’s very warm as an intermediate layer under a coat in under 0C outdoor, but at 20C indoor the holes help to ventilate and I don’t feel overheated like some other thick woolen sweaters

For the green yarn, I think the wanaka sweater (henley style) would be good! I'm currently knitting a dark green one and it looks lovely, I think it would suit the Light green more than the zipper sweater :)) it's also not just stockinette but a bit easier than incorporating a zipper Loved the video! :)

The green color cone it’s perfect for a cardigan to layover, summary dress, or autumn turtleneck , and it’s perfect for spring and summer colors so I think it’s would be perfect for a cardigan and there is the Korshavn Cardigan that is textures, but it’s not cable. It’s patterned but not engaging at the same time.❤

Love aaaall your projects! ❤❤ The one thing that is keeping me from knitting the adult Ingrid are the sleeve decreases in the cross stitch pattern 😮 did two baby Ingrid's as well. How about a Clay Sweater by Ozetta for the Green yarn? Subtle texture and some stockinette?

What is the mug you were using around 15:00, is it Scandinavian? I save my wild and crazy for socks as far as colors go. Texture is great in sweaters if there are not too many colors going on (except for stranded knitting).
