KK argues that an atheistic, human created set of values is inferior to a religious created set of values. Does he not understand that all religions were created by humans? There are many claims of divine revelation, but no proofs. There are many religions, each with their own set of values. An atheist's humanist set of values is merely one more to add to the pile. Must we take the good with the bad? Why can't we select the good stuff and leave the icky stuff on the pile?
This is a brilliant interview in my opinion! Handled very well and well done Konstantin for getting down to it and taking no crap. This is how we learn things. I’ts frustrating simply watching people avoid the question and being allowed to! One of my fave interviews here to date.
Konstantin... Religion isn't the answer to this problem. Yknow why it isn't? Because it didn't prevent the problem in the first place. Defenders of religion love to point out how all these things "out there" are going to be the death and destruction of humanity. Tv, movies, video games, heavy metal, heck, wasn't rock n roll looked at that way once? Point is, it's the wolf of the week to cry about when it comes to something about to bring about the End Times and it's always the supposed wolf we're always meant to be helpless against. The boogeyman we have to turn to God to save us from. And yet, oddly, it never seems to really work, does it? Somehow, religious teachings don't seem capable of effectively innoculating the people from the temptations and evils we're at risk of getting infected by. But do we ever blame the religions for failing to do this? Are we even allowed to be critical of what lessons are taught or how they're taught to produce a result where the values counter to what we'd rather have threaten to corrupt us? No, we instead go strictly after the anti religious as if they could be the only possible cause, forgetting that religious people of all types in all variations have been just as criminal in all ways. I do not say this to turn people away from religion. I'm saying the argument presuming those that believe in a diety doesn't guarantee moral behavior at all. No, what tamed humanity in relation to religion was Enlightenment principles taking away religious organizations from having political power. THAT is the common theme we see with religious style practices being at its most destructive. The same is true with the examples of Communist regimes. These regimes were not anti religious in practice. They did not, in practice, push man's reasoning over God. No, they pushed making the leaders God. Making them godlike and unquestionably powerful and whatnot. They were only athiest insomuch as they were against the religions that already existed, much like Japan was when they expelled foreigners and shut the country. They didn't want Christian influence threatening the pre-existing power structures. Communism doesn't push a war against God because of a disagreement in logic or doctrine. It's strategy to control the masses. This is not the same thing as just removing religion from people and leaving them to their own devices. Nor does it justify the remaining issue that religion still has flaws. Wokeism being wrong as it is doesn't make religion right just because it could be said to be the lesser of two evils. If more people do return to religion out of this, we'll still be faced with the same problems in being vulnerable to this being repeated because religion has proven it doesn't stop this from happening. That's why it's not the solution you seem to think it is, even for the believers.

Our son is 19 and just got his first job. Not for lack of trying. Hes had applications in and doing follow-ups since his 16th birthday. I knkw how hard he was trying because ive been here with him the entire time. His female peers all have jobs, but very few of the boys do. Why? Businesses are incentivized to hire females and not hire males. We didn't fix anything, we just dumped the shit on the other side of the fence and called it good.
Diversity? - so where are the children and OAPs? 30% of our population are either children or OAPs. None of our senior officer or, senior bureaucrats are children! None of our front line soldiers are OAPs! With the lack of diversity?

It's obvious to me -- everyone should have equal rights from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean sea. How to get there from here is more complicated (diplomacy always is), but there's nothing "ignorant" about that as a goal. It's not calling for any individuals or groups of people to be annihilated, just for them all to have equal rights and dignity. It's the people who feel the need to stomp on those who see that as a goal that I worry about.

You want to argue the utility of religion, that is not an argument about atheism. Religion has many positive effects on society, but that doesn't make it's claims any less supernatural.
Big thanks for this one boys. My son is a Para - I resisted his joining the army as all mothers do - but after a school career in which he focussed on cross country runs and rugby and could't see the point of academic lessons, he went off to University to study some non-subject because he had been persuaded that he had to have a degree. Once he joined the Paras he was as happy as a sand boy - despite the awful treatment and abuse - it was all about comradeship and supporting your mates. He'd be much further on in his army career if he had joined straight after school. Please mothers don't try to stop them doing what they really want to do. I won't stop to discuss what I think about the civil service and its political bent because it would do bad things to my BP - but f'them would summarise my basic imput.

It must be frustrating and take a toll on one mentally to not feel like you were born into the right body, to put it lightly. Gender dysphoria is a real condition, a rare one that affects 1-2% of the population. That being said, for the rest of us our biology and anatomy aligns with how we feel about ourselves, especially after puberty. Just because 1-2% of the population has a mental disorder does not mean that what's normal and true for the rest of us is suddenly not normal or true and none of us are actually men or women just because we have XX or XY chromosomes. You see everyone is now being pushed to list their pronouns in their profiles even though the majority of us never questioned our gender. What's next then? We normalize multiple personality disorder and ask the entire population to list the names of the other personalities they might have on their profile? The trans argument is that anatomy and biology don't matter, and that's just not true. There are times where I feel it is perfectly fine to call a trans man I know he or him and to see him as a man in this respect. I'm fine with that. However, there are many times where biology DOES matter and so it is not okay to pretend that "woman" or "man" is only based on how you feel about yourself. We know this isn't true due to hormonal differences between the sexes that shape personalities, tendencies toward violence, and the biological and anatomical differences between men and women including increased strength and size in the average man compared to the average woman. Examples of when biology matters: trans women trying to gain access to women's locker rooms, bathrooms, domestic violence shelters, prisons, women's sports, and reporting accurate crime statistics, etc. Ignoring biology has led to sexual assault in women's only facilities, women made to feel unsafe and uncomfortable having to share a private space with a man, women having trophies taken from them by male athletes. In Loudoun, VA, a high school implemented a policy stating you could use the bathroom of whichever gender you identified as. A high school boy stated he identified as female and used this policy to gain access to the female bathroom where he raped a female student. The ridiculousness needs to stop. It is weak leaders who allow this false and harmful ideology to infiltrate society and our education system. People need to be logical and reminded that facts matter more than feelings and this is a perfect example of why.

I think medical quackery riddles Western medicine these days. And especially mental health stuff like this. You know that antipsychotics and antidepressants are also really bad for people. So were painkillers. I mean these doctors seem to be more into money than human health you know what I mean. They should probably change the Hippocratic oath to hypocritical. There should be definite medical reform. In a ban on psychology psychiatry and any pseudoscience that can do large amounts of harm to a human body. Anything that messes with the genitals or brains soft tissues of children title organs with anything for survival or reproduction. Should be banned. Leave the kids alone.

This interview is up there as one of your best. This guy speaks so clearly and eloquently, getting his point across in a manner that is truly refreshing. He needs more air time.
Konstantin, I'll have to disagree with you, at least in part, on atheism being responsible for Hitler, Mao, Stalin etc. Atheism will philosophically leads to one of two paths, nihilism or utopianism, with communism being a form of utopianism. Mao basically wrote his own holy book, and Hitler was aiming a step further, aligned with Darwin's "Descent of Man", where he was intentionally culling the 'lesser races' of man so only the most ideal humans would be part of his utopia, also allowing for further evolution from such a top tier of humanity. Based on the history of europe, and the influence christianity has had on its moral character, I'd suggest that christianity is not only best for europe, and the rest of the world, but is a good indicator that God really does exist and is the God of the bible.
