    I can't believe I only now caught up to this video! Hilarious! I completely lost it when Alex said, "Don't forget to subscribe!" Things are going to be different for you now with baby on the way, but I hope you two never stop making each other laugh.

    If the question is "Would you speak Irish?" the question should definitively be "Yes, I'd give it a try!" Out of shere politeness you should always speak the language of the country you live in!

    No, death would NOT be quick, and death would NOT be the worst thing a bear could do to you. There's an infamous story about a russian woman who went hiking with her stepdad in the woods. The bear attacked and maimed them both, and started eating her while she was still alive. She literally had enough time to call her mom to beg for help at least 3 times because the pain was so bad.

    This shows how fucked the curriculum is, I'm about to take the hl paper and I have to learn poets, plays, extracts and essays instead of speaking basic irish. It doesnt help that my parents arent natives and me having an oral which was the equivalent of having a stroke. :(

    It implies that they see the majority of men as evil and they fully understand the logic but would rather peddle the narrative that they hate men because that’s what society taught them. It’s sad.

    I can only speak as a Welshman but I think language is an important part of cultural identity, especially the ones endangered, like any of the Celtic ones. I was born in Wales and have lived in Wales all my life but not being Welsh-speaking makes me feel really disconnected from the country, its histroy and its culture and its people. I am slowly learning Welsh now and I'd recommend all the celtic peoples to do the same. Without our languages, we might as well just say we're English.

    Both of my boys were vaginal births. I had an epidural with my second son & it was smooth sailing. I knew I could easily have more that way. My first son, quite a bit different.. I.e. no epidural & needed forceps.. it was tough. Trust your gut. Congrats! 💜💜

    There is nothing more terrifying to me than a bear attack. I can’t imagine. I would NOT go into bear country without a male hiking companion and bear spray. I take every possible precaution in bear country and I’m always thrilled to see other hikers nearby (more noise, fewer bears). 1 in 4 women have been harassed or attacked or the like, but by X out of how many men they come across in daily life? Come on now. Most guys are decent, good men, and many are fucking heroes.

  • @bgos4727

    Sure let's ignore statistics. I'm going with the bear.

  • @zentropy88
    @zentropy88Күн бұрын

    @@bgos4727 yeah, that’s what I’m saying. Do you get attacked by one out of every four men you come across? No. I’m not saying you’ll be safe and I get that there are a lot of bad men out there. But to suggest most are bad and violent is disingenuous. Bears are likely to viciously attack you and they’ll literally eat you alive. You can’t tell me in reality that you’d take your chances with a bear over a man. If you can, I’m genuinely sorry that you’ve been hurt that badly in your life or that your fear is that substantial. That’s truly awful.

  • @zentropy88
    @zentropy88Күн бұрын

    @@bgos4727also, just math… The stats say one out of six women face violence by men. Not one out of six men attack women. It’s over a lifetime, one out of six women experience violence by men. Very different. The stats for frequency of bear attacks is significantly higher for people who frequent wilderness with bears which must be a very low % of the population. So my answer is more statistically sound if you actually reason through it.

    Now stick a camera in their face and ask them if they would rather encounter a bear or a black man if they were alone in the woods. I bet you'll get a much different response.

    DEATH WOULD NOT BE QUICK! I can't stress this enough, fear bears!!!!! Most bears would eat you alive. Imagine having parts of your body, muscles, flesh, organs, torn and gouged from your body. All while you're pinned down with a big furry weight crushing your lungs or limbs. You would be awake for an hour enduring the scariest thing that can happen to a person. Being eaten alive. Be afraid of men, but please don't downplay bears. Be just afraid of them, and do not lie about the threat they can pose. Please treat this as a PSA.

    Why it's better to be in the woods with a bear then it is these woman as a man. 1-as a man you are most likely camping in bear country because you had to get away from women. 2- A bear will use it's teeth and not the more painful shrill voice to chew your ear off. 3- the bear will maul you to death within a few minutes, where as the wrong kind of woman will slowly nag you to death over many decades. 4- a bear might get agressive with you but it will never get passive aggressive with you.
