I think apple juice in porridge is brilliant & seems tasty. I wonder if you could swirl some applesauce in there, too. & sprinkle with cinnamon. The possibilities are endless.

Puttering through the vid, waiting for true Clare Vlogmas meter to rise. Went up a bit in the Christmas store, then a little more at tag. Stayed same when car locked in carpark. Then at 05:43 "Well you can 'F' off", we reached full Vlogmas meter. Yeah !! ❄🏉💜

ROFL --the reference to the Borg--I woke up my cats laughing. Glad the return was uneventful. When Alex mentioned the petrol was low, right away, I thought--oh no, they are going to run out of gas and need another taxi home. The apple juice and oatmeal makes sense to me. But then I eat oatmeal every day with seasonal fruits. In summer, I do a version of 'refrigerator porridge'. This time of year, I put up applesauce, spices apples, apple butter and the like--so oatmeal and apple anything is a major winter treat, IMO. The Christmas store looked lovely.

Random thoughts: 1.) It's not weird to put apple juice on porridge. It's healthy. I've eaten my porridge with cinnamon apple sauce and it's delicious; 2.) The towel turban just might be the look for you; 3.) I'm glad Alex had 3 pints after the challenging evening you guys had. I hope you had a couple pints yourself, Clisare, when you got home; 4.) You simply MUST replace Alex's Green Bay Packers hat for Xmas. Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, any NFL teams but the dreaded Cheeseheads of Green Bay. Thanks for sharing this great video!

We use trucks to log Christmas trees because it's easier to fit a big tree, and if there's any sap, it's easier to clean from a truck. But, I have only seen red trucks, specifically, in movies.

My Grandpa ate applesauce in his corn flakes, he was diabetic and my grandma made sugar free applesauce for him and he would put it on any food that needed some sweet. I miss them both.

When I was about 13 my dad got laid off from his job (it was the late 70s), and to conserve on the milk for me and my brothers, my mom and my sister started doing apple juice with oatmeal. It was unfiltered, organic apple juice so it was actually a bit thick and almost like cider in how strong it was.

I don’t think many people wear thermal underwear but I have sports thermals I wear. And I never think to have extra but I do carry scarves and hats etc.

You can eat your porridge with anything you want.

Toast the oats till its golden brown and till it give an arorma, add butter (Kerry gold)💜 toast for a few seconds till its mixed then add milk keep staring it and add sugar (more sugar the better ,like the butter). Let the milk reduce as per your preference. Enjoy!! The best podge you will ever have. Love and respect 🙏 🇮🇪💜

5:38 A tip to help you, Clare, figure out which side of the car 🚗 you can put in ⛽️ depends on where the car's manufacturer is and what side they drive on. So if you have a car made in North America or on the European continent it will likely be on the left side. English made, or Japanese models will be on the right. (Not always, however.)

A couple of comments: 1) My husband puts applesauce in his oatmeal/porridge so apple juice isn't that strange. 2) I wish all cars had the automatic headlights. I see too many people driving in the dark or the rain without their lights on.

@LindaC616 Yes. It's been a common practice in cars sold in North America (regardless whether they're manufactured here) since at lease the 1980s. If you borrow or rent a vehicle, a quick glance tells you which side of the gas pump to pull up to.

@LindaC616 No, the indicator for the side the gas fill pipe is on is an arrow on the side of the gas pump icon on the dash (where it shows how much gas you have remaining in the tank). It looks much like this: ⛽️▶️, which would tell you the tank fill pipe is on the right-hand side of the car). It is visible all the time, not only when the amount of fuel left in the tank is low. I hope that makes sense to you.
