college sports in much of the US is very similar. Think it really just depends on which region you grow up in etc. See University of Tennessee students storming the field and ripping down the uprights then dumping them in the river after beating Alabama for an example.

I’m sorry Ireland got beat. I know how important this season was, and I’m sad for ya dear. But you and Alex have had some wonderful adventures together and those are times that will long be remembered. I’m so glad to see Alex is finally “letting his hair down” and having a bit of craic in these last several videos though. He is genuinely hilarious and you two are so made to be together. May God bless ya both always, and here’s hoping that Ireland brings it home next year. 💖

Being a Canuck our team didn’t qualify for the Men’s - but the Women’s is where it is at - all spirit as strong and touch as mama bears. Alas - terribly sorry about the loss - the match was epic.

I was spoiled watching Ronan O’Gara, Paul O’Connell, Keith Earls, Peter Stringer, the big tall O’Callahan fella, Brian O’Driscoll, Rob Carney, Leo Cullen, Cian Healy…. Such fantastic players. The match commentators for Ireland are top notch too - so I know you’ll be winning a Men’s World Cup soon.

Then Devin Toner of course - I can never remember Peter O’Mahoney’s last name so I cheated and googled him. My former manager is from Cork so I’d ask him about Munster and then try and get his goat by asking if they’d beaten Leinster lately. I really gotta ask for an office transfer. Cheers - let’s see how the Ireland Women’s team do!

Another great video. When I heard the Rugby fans singing The Fields of Athenry, it made me think of a very strange experience I had on the New York City A train. I was headed home from work(it might have been a Friday). At one of the lower Manhattan stations about thirty lads get into the car. They must have all worked for the same company. I'm guessing financial workers. Every last one of them was dressed in khaki pants and shirts. Most of them were in their 20's or 30's. The train doors close and they all start singing Wonderwall by Oasis. They sung it the same way the Rugby fans were singing. I picked up an accent but couldn't be sure if it was British or Austrailian . I think I still have a copy of the video I took. The rest of the train didn't know what to make of it.

As a non-fan outsider, I'm just bored that it's New Zealand vs. South Africa yet a-fucking-gain. At least other World Cups offer you upsets on the way to a victory, obvious or not (like Morocco's miracle run last year at the men's World Cup last year and the Women's World Cup this year, Germany going all the way at the Basketball World Cup this year over the likes of the USA and Spain, teams like Czechia getting historic results at the World Baseball Classic, etc). New Zealand vs. South Africa is the most obvious final match-up I could've guessed before a single game was played this time around, and sure enough... (If you haven't started following Australian football, I think you'd totally fuck with it. I'm from NYC so I'm even further distanced from it, but boy is it fun to watch.)

Why do you think that it looks horrible if you don't mind me asking?

“Don’t tell Alex I can cook like this.” Clisare… If he sees your videos… He knows. And if he asks you for soy sauce after you cook one of these amazing meals, tell him to f**k off. Adding any sauce to a meal is an insult to the chef.

Please DON’T do these Hellofresh commercials! Nobody needs this BS … 🤦‍♂️ People come here to listen to your stories, not to see another commercial about a company which already floods all kinds of media with their own commercials!

I totally get your frustration. However, please keep in mind that I need to make enough money to pay my bills and cover the costs of the content that I make. especially when road tripping around Ireland, doing tours and activists and staying in Airbnbs for videos - I can’t do all that off Patreon alone currently. I wish I could, but until I can I need to take some sponsorships. I turn down a lot of sponsorships for things that I don’t genuinely love, and this is something that I really do love and am more than happy to promote for that reason. Feel free to skip the segments if they’re not for you, but again please understand that I provide so much content for free but it certainly isn’t free to produce.
