as far as i know, if there is a medical, safety, or mechanical problem, then it is considered an emergency landing. if the airbags come out, then that is the oh oh emergency landing (a person i know went to India and traveled the country and she ended up meeting people by chance, from the city where we live here in BC Canada, so sometimes it is a small world)

I had a friend from Belgrade in college in MI. Fast forward a few years, I'm working on my dissertation in Madison Wisconsin. Someone from a few years behind me runs into me at a cafe. I heard this guy hitting on her, and I knew he was with someone else (and he had already done one of my friends really dirty) so I wanted to stymy that. We wind up talking, and she said, "Oh! Wait! You have a friend in Belgrade, right?" It turns out we had several people from what was then Yugoslavia in our department. They had been talking, and she realized that she knew my friend from college. She had lived in the same apartment building as her! The world is so small.

Oh my God!!!! You guys are so precious together!!!!! Alex, it’s good to see you laughing and having a whole lot of interaction with the story!!!! HI-LARIOUS!!!! OMG...this was great! I dunno, Clare, the masks can come down for other reasons, and you don't necessarily have to turn back (can't remember if I've been through one of those drops or not). And with the air traffic control and everything involved in an unscheduled flight coming back (clearing a runway, etc), pretty serious. Pilot in the family, I could ask.... Was that Thomas the Tryer next to you at the game?or TechnoViking?
