  Oh Alyse, you are such a bright light. I started following you from the beginning and originally resonated with your content because I used to live on the big island and I was a plant based eater. I always supported your journey even when you stopped being vegan. I know you’ve had your ups and downs but I’m so glad that you are still sharing your journey!   I don't really get why she calls it an 'animal based diet'. She's literally eating fruit, veg, herbs? Basically she's on a keto diet and just avoiding carbs

  I haven’t watched in a while but I remember you taking out your dreads and the trail and many other videos. My friends think I’m weird because I don’t make lists and plan but I’ve never been a person who manages my day by writings lists and planning things out. Planning on paper just frustrates me. I organize in my head. I’ve always been fascinated by people who plan their lives on paper. I just could not do that. I’ve tried. I will be turning 60 next month so feeling like I’m pretty happy with just figuring it out as I go

  I'm French, about your age, and I stumbled across one of your videos in which you presented your morning routine in Hawaii with a natural toothbrush (it made a big impression on me haha). I thought it was weird and funny, but the video as a whole was soothing, authentic and joyful. I don't know why I remembered this calming video today and set out to find it again. Now I'm watching your video was like holding up a mirror to my own last 10 years and I found it nostalgic :)

  I was a prominent raw vegan YT guy around the same time as you, and was cancelled when I ate meat as well. I found moving away from the internet and doing life, and figuring out life without others watching worked the best :) super glad and happy to see your doing well now.

  @@AlyseParker Self-care is ultimately all-care. One tip though, you might want to think about increasing calories a bit if you start running a lot. So we dont end up like we did after 32,5 miles 😅💚

  I'm just like you when it comes to writing cards. I love sending and receiving mail and I think it's a form of expression fallen by the wayside. I can't ever see myself not writing cards so it's something I plan on continuing to do as it brings me joy.

  I use Dr.Eric Berg's electrolytes. I plan to just start consuming salt when it's gone. I like the stevia in Dr. Berg's which doesn't cause cavities cuz no sugar. I'll check out the ingredients in Element.
