    i will genuinely miss your vlogs. they were so cool--seeing how a cool smart cute girl lives her life. gave me something to imagine as i do my 9-5 in my un-vlogable world. i don't resonate at all with advice-giving platforms--they seem like pretty people giving advise. there's a ton of attractive and educated people with endless advice. i loved seeing your breakfasts, your dinners, your dog jumping, your struggles and triumphs, your appointments and workouts. one vlog of your day spoke to me more than 10 hours of good advice. and real vlogs are getting harder and harder to find. the honest ones. that's because the viewers think it's their "right" to tear the vloggers a "new one" with every discrepancy or thing they don't agree with. Charles Bukowski said he was a great fighter not because he could land a punch but because his face could take a hit. Sometimes i think for myself i need to take a hit better. there was some profound real life that came through your vlogs--aside from all the cool stuff (like what a great room organiser and clothes designer you are) you handled some nasty hits from some nasty viewers, and it was real life. anyway, i guess this is just me saying thank you for your vlogs. they were great. i know you're doing the best for yourself, and i wish you the best moving forward.

    I feel like podcasts are… towards the end of being “new” content styles. Like, it’s past the honeymoon phase and new creators are going to have an insanely rough time getting followers and building traction. I work in media and it’s hard to be new if you weren’t in the movement as it developed 5 years ago.

    hmm interesting! i hear you! and, i've heard that the podcast app is actually still in it's infancy stage compared to youtube and instagram. regardless, i believe that creating a conscious parenting podcast will be greatly beneficial for the world.

    But your not a parent. Your opinion doesn’t matter unless you’ve experienced those specific things. As a parent this is offensive. Why should a mom of two listen to you, a mother of none?

    I love that you go with what feels most aligned with you. I am excited for what is to come, and I am myself so interested in conscious parenting. I think we can learn so much from it even if we don’t plan to be parents ! Thank you for being yourself 😊 Your content still resonates with me, even more than before and I love to see us evolving :) Evolution is beautiful, and it’s the key

    People don't realize how hard it can be to get off of social media. It's an addiction like anything else... nothing to do with the person, everything to do with our brain, our culture, our patterns, and us not feeling like we have the stability in our lives to NOT use it. In the new year, I am not going on social media anymore, any of it. I had a moment during the pandemic where I wasn't watching TV, the news, no social media, just kind of hanging out at home... and I literally felt like I woke up out of a coma I didn't know I was in. People won't ever realize this as a whole until we each go through it or learn from other people who have done it, so you keep sharing what you feel is right beautiful! If everyone woke up to how deep we're dissociated from ourselves, we'd all lose our minds... sound kind of like, reality. :)

    IMO, ✨Social media is 1% wholesome, connecting content, 🤮 99% toxic, unhealthy, time-wasting garbage. Congrats Alyse! Love your channel and the fact that you’ve shared as much with us as you have. I’ve been off of all social media for a couple years now and it’s been great for my focus, mental health, physical activity, diet, habits, professional growth etc.

    I'm genuinely excited for this new chapter. I used to watch your old videos, especifically the ones about (raw) veganism, and I gotta be honest when your diet & beliefs changed I just had to take a step back mostly because I was living through a vegan activism focused era. Those 2 kind of couldn't coexist at the time, at least for me. A few years later, even though I'm still vegan, I'm much more relaxed about it hahahaha and I don't care whether you are or not, I just resonate with your message and I'm really looking forward to your future content

    Alyse, I just started watching your channel. I was attracted to the brightest of your content, in regards to your personality and the intentional way that you create content for your audience. This shift you speak of is one that I am currently going through as well. Letting go of thoughts and beliefs that no longer serve me. Much easier said than done, but it's worth the effort to lead a more fulfilling life. I also deeply resonate with your passion for conscious parenting. As a future parent, I do not want to have children until I am fully prepared (well, as much as we CAN be prepared before the actual experience). Looking forward to your content moving forward!

    I'm naturally an introvert, so I thrive on solitude, silence and privacy. However, I sorta relate to your story where I use to document my life in a very limited way on FB. But the older I get, the more simple and clear life has become. Privacy just became more and more a necessity, so I booted FB, along with documenting my life to people who don't matter to me. It's easy to find peace, freedom, clarity and stability in privacy. People know less so there are less drama and gossip = more peace. You're not trying to connect like you did, so there's freedom to pursue other things or freedom from toxicity. And because there are less competing forces for your resources, you find clarity. When all this becomes habit, there's stability.

    I'm excited for this change. I've been watching for 5 or 6 years and especially when I first started watching, I found all of your 10 minute inspirational videos and it kickstarted my life into what it has become. Everyone and everything changes, but I for one have definitely missed that style of content. Vlogs are great, and I'm not going to stop watching them, however anyone who watches a vlog and says they don't compare themselves to another even in a tiny way is lying. It can soon become damaging. I'm looking forward to your educating, training and inspiration portion of the Internet returning. Good luck 💕

  • @alisaspear3382

    It's not always a good solution, it's also something that takes a ton of educating yourself so you don't proceed unethically. Not something I'd personally recommend to someone in a casual manner, because it's a lifelong journey that involves even more mental and emotional labor than raising a biokid, in addition to all of the learning you need to do about the vast variety of circumstances you could potentially need to face and the effects being adopted could potentially have on the child based on their very specific early life experiences.

  • @mollyb1983

    @mollyb1983

    Жыл бұрын

    Uhhhh no. Adoption should not be encouraged or used as a way to “recycle other beings”. Adoption is always trauma and a separation of an individual from their roots. Family preservation is what needs to be promoted. And forget completely about “ending a cycle”… you’ll be starting a whole new cycle by taking another family’s child, guaranteed. I know you may mean well but you really need to do your due diligence and research before you start making flippant suggestions.

    A podcast style can get very boring. I tried to do a podcast where I interviewed professional actors but It was a waste of money one interview cost me 400$ for 8 mins. 🥹 I also used CAMEO to help get videos from actors but It was 2 mins for about 200$ each. Spending that kind of money on a podcast wasn’t worth It & a lot of the Hollywood actors aren’t really that kind they are just scamming fans a convo should be free.
