@@JeRrYxVaNcE Yeah sure, I think it's just the wah pedal introducing a harmonic kind of sound when pressed, that allowed it to sustain when I held that last note each time round.

@@StaticResurreXion 🤣😂 I haven't used tabs for probably 10-15 years or so now. Unfortunately I don't remember how to play most of the things I cover, especially if they're solos, they're pretty much a 1 and done kinda deal. I just don't have the time to be tabbing everything out either.

I covered this solo too, hard to get the diminished part down for sure, everytime i listened back it seemed off time even thought it wasn't, so i had to keep retrying.

If you mean because I have this guitar(?) then the D3's weren't worth anywhere close to what they're going for(or at least what people are asking for them anyway) now. I think I may have been part of the reason for the price increase, as they seemed to skyrocket not long after I made a few vids with it that blew up in views 😕

No waaaay!! I think you could be the first person I've encountered who has the same model and colour! What year is yours? Mine's an '89. The neck is probably the thinnest neck I've ever played, and still the most confortable for me. Unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of playing it for a while because I sanded off the finish and filled in the middle pup, I'm thinking of spraying it red like Alex's 😉 Thanks for the compliments btw🙏

Excellent! Covered this back in the early 90s in a band I was in, I see some of the parts I had slightly wrong in the riffs (had to learn by ear and those tab books were often flat out WAY wrong). Love that guitar!

You're the first guitarist on YT that I have seen get Dime's vibrato bends correct, complete with feel. It's the most important part of his solos.

DO NOT ORDER FLANGER/DOUBLER OR ANY PEDAL FROM DB EFFECTS! They screwed up the wiring of my pedal so it died as soon as I plugged it in, and never took ownership of the fact. It's a shame because the working ones sound awesome. Awful customer service. I agreed to send it back and not make waves, but the last attitude laden email, means it's war! The most arrogant customer service, whose English is conviniently bad when there's a problem. They won't own up to their mistake even when I have a multimeter on it with photos! So, there's a video coming soon, with screen shots of emails, to show you how bad it could be. You make up your own mind, but til then, just stop! Buy a Mimiq instead!

It'the Cry Baby From Hell, you can customise it quite a bit. I wish I could remember what my settings were because this was probably the best I've gotten it to sound. If I remember correctly though I did always like to try and accentuate the higher range more, mainly because the gain/sustain would drop out when I knocked my heel down, I think that wss probably due to how I had it hooked up though.

Really nice guitar work, very accurate. just from a first impression, this sounds closer to dimes playing than other very famous guitar players, but this is just my personal opinion.

I keep saying this, but I'm honestly still amazed that people still say this, and especially about a video like this with me playing completely raw with no instruments. To tell you the truth, I actually get FAR more compliments about my tone than I do about my playing when it comes to Dime/Pantera, so it always puts a smile on my face when people recognise the work I've put into the playing, as imo it's probably one of the biggest factors to get the tone in the first place that many people seem to overlook! Thank you! 🙌
