In my AU: The Sodor and Mainland railway was founded in 1860, serving the towns of Vicarstown, Crovan's Gate, Kellsthorpe Road and Rolf's Castle. To run the line, 3 Neilson box tanks were ordered in 1861. They were n°1 "Clive", n°2 "Neil" and n°3 "Mathew". Crovan's Gate works was also founded. In 1888, a new branch line was built to the growing town of Great Waterton from Crovan's Gate. Two new engines came to the railway: a small blue tank engine called Benson (n°4), and a custom built 0-6-0 tank engine by Crovan's Gate works. The new engine was painted grey and was called Terry (n°5). In 1890, the line to Great Waterton was and Morgan's Mine was completed, with Terry beeing assigned to run it. In 1902, the line was extended to Kirk Ronan and a new express train between it and Vicarstown was created. To run the service, the railway bought one of the Great Northern's Stirling Singles, who was called Emily (n°6). In 1908, the old Neilson box tanks were retired to shunting duties; Clive was sent to Kirk Ronan, Neil to Crovan's Gate, and Mathew to Vicarstown. After the merging with the T&E and de the W&S, in 1930, the line to Great Waterton became uneconomical and was closed, with Terry beeing left in a shed until the line reopened in 1982.

In my AU: The Knapford and Elsbridge railway was created in 1858, serving the towns of Knapford, Dryaw, Toryreck and Elsbridge; as well as Knapford Haurbor and the Lead mines. In 1870, the work became too much for the horses. So, the railway hired Stephen Topham Hatt to come up with a solution. The solution was a class of vertical boiler "coffee pot" engines, wich 4 examples were built. In 1890, plans were made to extend to Tidmouth through the coast, but they were scraped in favor of a double bore tunnel north of Knapford. The town was reached in 1892 and a small deep water haurbor was built. Passanger services started in early 1893. Beeing almost 25 years old by now, the Coffee Pots were starting deteriorate. So, in 1895, the now Tidmouth and Elsbridge Railway commisioned Crovan's Gate Works to build a small 0-6-0 tank engine to handle passanger work, therefore leaving the goods traffic to the vertical boiler engines. The engine was completed in March 1896. The new engine, called "Timothy", was shipped to Tidmouth haurbor when his testing was completed. In 1907, the T&E and the W&S made an agreement to build a conection between the railways with a middle station at Crosby. Unfortunetly, before the viaduct between Crosby and Wellsworth was complete, a late night passanger train pulled by the T&E's n°5 plunged off it. The accident was caused by the malfunctioning of the engine's breaks before the final stop at Crosby. 89 lives were lost on that night, including the crew's and the engine's. The Crosby Catastrophe is, to this day, still the worst and most fatal accident in Sudrian History. Curiosly, Timothy's blueprints would be adapted in 1920 with stronger brakes and smaller cilinders to build Thomas.

my ideal wellsworth and suddery railway is kind-of unique but i am going to explain it anyway. it opened in 1889 with 2 engines (Charlie, GSWR 0-6-0ST Not spacific class) (Billy, GSWR 299 Class) and in 1891 when they could not handle the goods work that much anymore, 2 more engines helped with the incresing work load, (Brown, LSWR Radial tank engine) (Harrison, LSWR M7 Class), during ww1 2 more engines came to help with delivering military stuff to where its supose to go, (Jake, USRA 0-6-0 Tender engine imported from USA,) (Molly, Great norther railway Class Q from ireland), but jake would be a rough-rider of the W&S becouse of the british loading gauge and would often derail, after the war molly was free to stay on the W&S and jake left shortly after and was likely scrapped,

My ideal Wellsworth and Suddery Railway was opened in 1878 and was originally run by 2 Manning Wardle Q Class engines: No. 1 'Charlie', and No. 2 'Billy'. By 1895 the workload was increasing, so a Sharp Stewart 0-6-0 Tender-Tank engine named 'Horace', who took over the goodswork, leaving the first two engines on shunting and passenger duties. In 1897, another engine was brought on, this being an LB&SCR A1 'Terrier', named Terry, who took on the main shunting services at Suddery harbour. In 1902, the line expanded to Brendam, leading to 4 more engines arriving on the railway: 2 faceless NER Bogie Tanks, and 2 Haydock Foundry Well Tanks: one of which was Sonny, the other one being faceless. The 2 bogie tanks took on the main passenger services, while the Well tanks were put on goods and shunting duties.

I might be weird to comment this, but in my own Ideal NWR, my ideal Timothy isn't even Timothy. Instead, it's an older Matthew Kirtley 0-6-0 tender engine (a Midland Railway 480 Class) named Eustace. He was an insufferable, whiny, ill-tempered, overly dramatic, and unbearable bully, especially towards trucks, as he treated them like they were objects. On the night of April 4, 1915, heavy fog rolled in. Eustace was meant to take a supply train consisting of essential materials for the viaduct's construction. The trucks decided to teach Eustace a lesson on how they felt about being bullied to no end, and they got rid of him...BY BLOODY MURDERING HIM! They pushed him off the edge of the Maron Viaduct at 11:08 p.m. and his ghost is said to haunt the Maron Viaduct and his ghost can (supposedly) be spotted on either a cold October night or the anniversary of the accident. He'll often run again warning others, before he'll plunge into the gap and shriek like a lost soul.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you. I don't even think Dudley is evil. Honestly, I bet Dudley did what he did out of anxiety rather than malice. I bet if he ever returned to Sodor (which is unlikely), he would likely apologize to Bear and the others since it's likely he learnt his lesson overtime.
