For those interested: discord.gg/t7XHQHbuX4 I’m hoping to get to doing a video on the Fowler Tenders, but I’m planning to make videos on real life locomotives, I have come up with ideas such as the Thompson Pacifics, the GWR Great Bear, and even the Raven B16s. But rest assured Thomas videos will still be on this channel. Apologizes for the long wait, life sometimes can be a bitch.

Fun fact: KaneFan's version of Timothy actually has him being rebuilt from an E1 to an E2. The actual creator of Timothy, as far as I'm aware, is UrbanKiller135. In the Railway Series, the ghost engine is a GWR 2301 Dean Goods that appeared in the real life film called "Ghost Train."

Here’s my take: Timothy was a FR G5 locomotive. He had no faults and worked on the railway for several years up until the second war. Timothy was pulling a late night passenger train but was caught up in an air raid. Timothy already passed the last station and was on the Viaduct before a bomb dropped. After the air raid the remains of Timothy and passengers were found.

Here's my take January 31, 1915 : Timothy is a prototype that had many faults, which made him a good target of bullying by the loaned engines. The controller thought he was a piece of scrap so on that night he pulled his last passenger train, which was coincidentally full of workmen and the controller which all made fun of him daily. That night, Timothy had enough. He set off on his journey. At the last station timothy sped up Driver: "Timothy slow down" But instead he sped up. Now at this time, the maron viaduct was being constructed to connect cronk and maron. The workmen were alerted of a runaway so, they got off the viaduct The driver and fireman tried everything but nothing worked so they jumped out. Timothy plunged into the gap. At least, that's what everyone was told, as timothy had actually been sold the southern railway during grouping in 1921 and was bought in 1965 by tfc to work near wellsworth. When thomas heard the fake story he was mad because timothy felt like a father figure to thomas. So tfc cleared it up by showing records and timetables of that day.

Despite how overused and unscary he is now… I will give the concept credit… It’s like…And hear me out…Sodor Fallout, it was good at the time until it was used over and over to death It also was the inspiration of my own take on Ghost Train, that being the ghost train we see at the beginning of the episode is quite literally the design of the engine who fell to his demise. But that’s a whole different story lol I still remember being terrified of him when I was younger and then having a big interest in the story This Creepypasta was probably the reason I became invested in horror (alongside FNAF), but I bet it was this story that really started it all XD But that scream makes me jump no matter what since I’m still startled by jumpscares xd

I've always liked the idea that Percy's driver was watching a rerun of the 1941 Arthur Askey movie Ghost Train. The story in it is pretty much identical, and gives the whole "pretend ghost" comment other meanings. I guess if I were to do something with Timothy, I'd make a Dean Goods, like in the movie, and give him an actual number, livery, and make the accident happen somewhere else, given it's never specified to be Sodor, or even the UK. Just that it was a "pretend ghost on TV".

In my head cannon, Timothy is a Midland Railway 1F class locomotive. He was a kind sorted engine and was a mentor to thomas and the other tank engines. One stary night, Timothy was taking a goods train. The trucks pushed him on Gordon's hill, then, he neared the viaduct, he crew jumped off and he was killed in the crash. This made him a ghost, although he is not a demon, he is more of a protector of the people and engines of sodor

Here's my take on Timothy: It's a hybrid of Kanefan701, 22Tesla, and Richard Jordan's (Skarloey123) version. He was built as a prototype for the E2 class, which made him the oldest of his class and work in LBSCR. Later, he came to Sodor to work on a branch line near the Kirk Ronan Branch for a short time until it closed down. Timothy was sold back to LBSCR, where he later worked and met new E2 builds. One of them was Thomas. Timothy and Thomas became good friends and worked together. By the end of 1913, Timothy was a retired LBSCR, but he then sold other handguns to help with construction. However, due to his age, things became difficult. His parts were worn out and it was difficult to repair him. Things got even worse with the old controller, as he only cared for money. One day, he told Timothy at the sheds that he had plans to scrap Timothy after taking the midnight passenger train to save money. Timothy was angry by this and wanted to play the controller back. He succeeded by plugging into the cliff and killing himself, the controller, and the passengers. As we know, Timothy Sprite haunts Sodor. Many people on Sodor have theories about Timothy's accident. One being that he had his accident to save someone he cared for. Another theory is that the part where the demon scene happened didn't' happen and was made up to make the story scarier. Others believe it did happen, and what happened was that he put pain and pressure in his head, which damaged his face. No one knows.

For me, Timothy stuck out the most as a fan made Thomas character compared to likes of Alfred and Dudley. I first discover him when I was a child watching some videos of made by fans. And I was pretty horrified of his appearance. But now I’m older he does not scare me that much, but it does have an intense look. I do want to do my own take on him however, there are millions of fans who have their own take so having a physical model feels better than my own take. But overall he stuck out as a fan-made creation. Also, interesting fact. The face is not an edit by the way, and it’s rather than an alternate/ non-use version for Thomas for the TATMR in the lost media tapes of it. There was a face of Thomas, but looks so elderly and had wrinkles and little teeth. And I believe the creepy pasta creator might have used that to his own advantage. Quite interesting. 🤔

Personally speaking, I've made him the E1x locomotive (E1 No.89 "Brest" ~~name jokes aside~~). It technically acted as a proof of concept by Marsh, which Lawson Billinton would later use to develop the E2's off of. I've also added an extra step in him being cosmetically rebuilt into an E2 for business purposes. It allows him to cover both of the major points of his character, being old and being the prototype, while making slightly more sense (at least imo). Timothy is honestly a guilty pleasure for me, it's such a cliche and stupid idea, but the way Kane told it just hooked me.

I believe that this creepypasta is one of the most iconic bits of Thomas fandom. It is also surprisingly popular, even nowadays. Now, I wouldn't call it scary, but it certainly is a classic that I would re-watch many times just for the nostalgia. I still can't believe that Kanefan's adaptations appeared almost ten years ago.

Recently Narrow Gauge did his take on the Timothy named "Zero". I say he utilized the problematic side of the E2's prototype better in his story than anyone else, while also making it work and fit better in the world of TV series without demonic and dark elements, while still making the story creepy. I recommend you to check it. As for the basis, only in TV series we see the Ghost Engine. In RWS there is no illustration showing the Ghost from Percy's story. I guess for the show they simply reused the model of Percy covered in flour with white streamers to save on time and to sell the idea of Percy being able to disguise himself as Ghost. They did that a lot of the time with the Ghost engines in the model era: models of other engines repainted and/or redone, shot to look like they are different engines entirely. While the TVs ghost might be an saddle tank, the RWS one could be anything, even the side tanks like E2's.

In my headcanon, Timothy (No. 0) is Thomas' oldest brother, and he's the first E2 prototype with short side tanks. He was built on the 10th of February 1913, a few months before the real E2 with the number 100 (built in June during the same year). He worked on the LB&SCR until June 1915, when he and his younger brother, Thomas (built on the 12th of May 1915) said their final goodbyes to each other while moving to Sodor, whereas Thomas was originally supposed to be shipped to Netherlands, but was put on the wrong ship, which was heading to France, together with many ROD engines, including James. After reaching Sodor, Timothy was greeted by many other engines from the S&M Railway, the W&S Railway, the TK&ELR, and even the ones from the Culdee Fell Railway, the Skarloey Railway and the Mid Sodor Railway. He worked very hard during the construction and expansion for the preparation of the opening of the North Western Railway in 1923, but construction progress was halted during the Great War. One day in 1919, Timothy started to break down so badly that the Fat Director (Sir Bertram Topham Hatt I) decided to send him back to Brighton Works for an overhaul, so that he can reunite with Thomas. However, Lady Jane Montague's father, Lord Montague (The Old Controller) and his friend, Archibald Williams (who raped on Margaret at a viaduct) made a plan in order to have him scrapped. This caused Mr. Albert Regaby to call the police on the both of them for causing Timothy's life to end abruptly during the night when he shunted the passenger train for Edward. Instead of being uncoupled from the train, he pulled them straight away, leaving the other passengers and the guard behind, while his driver and fireman were knocked out of the footplate by the bandits. He ran so quickly that he couldn't stop on time, and he plunged from the Big Dipper, and crashed into a ravine below, nearly bringing Annie and Clarabel with him. His remains were found the next day and was placed near the ditch near Vicarstown Sheds during his funeral. And what about the Old Controller and Archibald Williams? The Old Controller was killed during his scuffle with Peter (who then killed himself after staring at Lady Jane Montague's lifeless corpse), while Archibald was arrested for causing Margaret to kill herself, and was sentenced to death a few months later for his crimes.

I alway's thought up my own take on Timothy being a W&S Saddle Tank Engine (in RWS lore). It makes sense since he would also be a very old engine but rather almost looking like the ghost train model in the TVS version. Not only that, but there is a story that kinda plays with that idea but instead, it's not actually Timothy, but rather Billy from the Hit Era.

Another thing is that you could make any interpretation on how the work environment was during the W&S Time period, as the viaduct would be in construction nearing the end of the W&S Time period and the horrific idea that the engines would be scrapped afterwards. Say maybe the W&S engines didn't get as much care, leading to little repairs and more issues on the railway, which can be the reason why Timothy has faulty brakes instead of becoming possess and kinda having a mind of it's own.

I was nearly going to add Timothy into my own RWS headcanon but then remembered where my headcanon differs from official media. What's different is the what became the NWR's mainline that was built in 1914 as in official RWS lore was already instated as far back as 1894 in my AU, rendering the viaduct part a bit useless. If I were to try and readd him, I would take a leaf out of your book and make him an LNWR design as for how I set up a theme for the three Sudrian railways for their motive power. -W&S: LB&SCR -S&M: LNWR -TK&E: Industrials or freelance I'd go with the idea of Timothy being a saddle tank and luckily the LNWR did have saddle tanks. Might make him as either a Special Tank 0-6-0ST or a 4ft shunter 0-4-0ST, as to justify the weak brakes. As for what killed him, I'll need to work that out.

Personally my take would be an LBSCR terrier specifically number 41 Piccadilly as the engine was built in 1877 and was originally withdrawn in 1902 but in my take hes bought by the Tidmouth, Knapford and Elsbridge Light Railway in early 1903 where hes tackled on the heavy trains that the coffeepots couldn't handle. I believe that he stayed arround until the merging of the railways but wasn't given the chance to be properly maintained causing his breakes to worsen overtime causing his crash in 1914. I used a terrier to still have that connection with sodor and Thomas the only lbscr engine on Sodor as Thomas would've been his replacement giving him a hatred of him and wanting him gone.

I might be weird to comment this, but in my own Ideal NWR, my ideal Timothy isn't even Timothy. Instead, it's an older Matthew Kirtley 0-6-0 tender engine (a Midland Railway 480 Class) named Eustace. He was an insufferable, whiny, ill-tempered, overly dramatic, and unbearable bully, especially towards trucks, as he treated them like they were objects. On the night of April 4, 1915, heavy fog rolled in. Eustace was meant to take a supply train consisting of essential materials for the viaduct's construction. The trucks decided to teach Eustace a lesson on how they felt about being bullied to no end, and they got rid of him...BY BLOODY MURDERING HIM! They pushed him off the edge of the Maron Viaduct at 11:08 p.m. and his ghost is said to haunt the Maron Viaduct and his ghost can (supposedly) be spotted on either a cold October night or the anniversary of the accident. He'll often run again warning others, before he'll plunge into the gap and shriek like a lost soul.

Personally, my version of Timothy is a GWR 13xx numbered 1362. He also has no name, the train he pulls to his doom is different, the people who die is different. And after he dies he goes on to be a protecter of the NWR, a Guardian you could say. (Editor note, so 1362 cannot work as that was built in the 40s so perhaps a lost prototype version of the class could work? Still need to think about what number to give him.)

Fun fact in a thomas minibook thomas goes to school written by Christopher awdry in the scene where thomas driver is on the phone you can see a picture of 2 engines one of them is thomas and the other no one knows but he looks like thomas and there's a bit of grey on him, so I guess that's Timothy I guess. Maybe that's why Timothy is siver, and he's thomas brother

Whos the best ghost villain? Timothy, Alfred, 311, The 13th van, Dominic, the infamous evil truck from "Down the hill", Dudley, Mr. Howell or 1020? Recently Narrow Guage made a video he wrote titled "ZERO" which played out the same, but compared to other people who write Timothy stories that aren't too dark for younger audiences they have no bloody imagery, no mild jumpscares, just grim scenes of fantasy peril and somber tones.

  • @NathanielPiscian
    @NathanielPiscian26 күн бұрын

🤔 hmm, in my point of view I say I’m a huge fan of Timothy the tank engine as he is legitimately Thomas’s older brother regardless if he’s non canon and then some but cannon aside I’ll go as far to say I’m a fan of Timothy so much that I’ve personally built a trackmaster model of my own version of Timothy who I call Timothy the lbscr e1 tank engine along with building a sister e1 who I’ve named tori the lbscr e1 Now both of them are really the e2s with short side tanks as that appearance is just perfect in every way for me it’s no contest but appearance aside they are e1s modified by the controller in my au And if your curious about what theses engines look like go to my community post and take a look. That said I’ll say that the original Timothy was the greatest sense of horror eerie and edginess when ever I wanted to be in that sense whenever I had nothing to do or wanted to learn about something after listening to a bunch of horror mystery’s in a rainy afternoon that sorta thing But horror aside with Timothy being the prototype and brother of the e2s it makes me wonder if Timothy had stories about lbscr during his younger days or before Thomas’s construction just like if Edward would talk about his younger day of the furness railway or Toby on the lner and then some and if Timothy were alive today would he be apart of that elderly group with Edward and Toby? Who knows. I see quite a lot potential with this non canon tank engine and even if there were legit toys or merch about him I’d buy it. Now when you said this story has made its mark on the fandom your absolutely right about that if it were not for this creepypasta I’d never would have gotten started on the railway I’m currently building perhaps I would have tried but it be very generic 🤔 Other than that I hope the legend of the nwrs no. 0 keeps on for generations to come regardless if it’s bad to others Here’s to Timothy the tank engine 🥂

It’s Overrated I Guess. In my headcanon story, Timothy is kind and friendly like Richard Jordan One. He is based on the Midland Railway 1377 Class train model. Unfortunately, his brakes fail and he falls off the viaduct. However, he doesn't become a devil but instead transforms into an angelic spirit.

If you want to hear a better more in line with the series version of the story I highly recommend the audio story "zero" buy narrow gauge of all my years in the Thomas fandom his audio horror stories starring Thomas the tank Engine characters have been truly exceptional, the same being said for this one in particular what I like most about this particular retelling is instead of trying to make the original concept work as it is he puts himself under certain parameters stripping Timothy of everything down to his name they are no known as zero and he's a very weak engine the only hint of supernatural possession by the end of the story is just Timothy's ability to go faster

Here is the TRUE story of Timothy! It all happened in the year 1915, on October 31st, at midnight. Timothy was pulling a late-night passenger train. Timothy was waiting at the station when his driver and fireman went into the station to use the loo. Timothy waited and waited when all of a sudden, a strange thin man with a thin black hat and a twirly mustache climbed aboard Timothy's cab. Timothy: Oh driver, there you are. Are we ready to go? Stranger: ...Sure thing. When Timothy's crew came out from the station, they saw Timothy and the coaches left the station! Timothy can see the station. Timothy: Driver, we're coming up to the station. Timothy was about to stop, but he couldn't! Timothy was out of control! Timothy: DRIVER, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! APPLY THE BREAKS NOW! But the strange man didn't apply the brakes, he made Timothy go faster and faster! Timothy was heading to the unfinished viaduct! Stranger: NYAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU'RE PASSENGERS ARE GOING TO END UP IN THE GRAVE, ALONG WITH YOU! NYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! TIMOTHY: WHAT?! They were getting closer and closer! Stranger: THIS IS IT! PREPARE TO MEET YOUR DOOM! Timothy: I don't think so. Stranger: what? Then Timothy shook the coaches so hard that they were all uncoupled from him. The coaches stopped! Stranger: NO! timothy: YES! STRANGER: I think this is where you get off. Then the stranger jumped out of Timothy's cab. Timothy plunged into the ravine. Timothy: AAAAAAAAAAHHH! (CRASH!) THE PASSENGERS ARE ALL SAVED! The next day: Timothy was hauled out of the ravine, unfortunately, Timothy was beyond repair. The workmen tried to fix him up, but they couldn't. before Timothy was sold for scrap, the passengers who he saved came to say goodbye and thank you to him. As for the stranger who tried to harm Timothy and the passengers, was arrested. And that is the TRUE story of Timothy!
