thank you!
This channel is so GOOD.
Thank you 😊
hii can you make dreamcatcher music analysis video please? I think this kind of videos would fit them a lot. thanks!
we have a few already! but we’re looking forward to their next release
I do like "Zombie" I like all the musical embellishments, but It didn't wow me. "Colourz", second song on the Single, on the other hand I like way more. With sax in the chorus and way more upbeat melodies make it pop way harder. The third song "Back 2 Luv" is ok, but nothing too astonishing.
I really liked colourz too :D
thank u for doing everglow!
glad you enjoyed our video!
Please make a video about one of the recent New Jeans tracks
another great analysis thanks guys 💕
thank you for always supporting us!
As a big kpop fan and aspiring producer this is my new favorite channel 💞
aw thank you so much!
The Planet Rock sample being ignored by everyone 😂
You guys are the best :)
I think Aespa’s success is mainly due to their willingness to not follow trends which makes their sound feel timeless and unique. As a listener I never know what to except which keeps things exciting every comeback! 🌟🌟

Hey Serpentiris, A while back, I sent you an email about a question I had and a video suggestion on why second-generation K-pop sound so similar, basically asking what makes kpop so kpop. Just wondering if you had a chance to check it out. Would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks!
Hey, thank you for your comment and your e-mail! We have addressed your question about what makes K-Pop sound like "K-Pop" in our special tutorial a few months ago, it's the one with the green thumbnail! We may make something on gen2 K-Pop in the future but our biggest focus right now is current trends. And trends rotate rather fast nowadays so it may be sooner than we expect, haha. This said, we are more than happy to have a more casual conversation on any of these topics in our Discord, so do join, it would be a great discussion! ☺️
Aespa always come with something out of expectations and turn every song into addictive game.
great video as always guys 💕
Thank youuu😌
FINALLY i have been searching for someone to break down what makes this song so different than other "y2k" songs hehe
ahh glad you enjoyed the video!
How am I only finding this gem now?? Great video!! It's nice to see the spotlight on Monsta X... Unfortunately, they are unfairly overlooked... They are complete artists with a great discography!!
thank you ☺️ they have so many good songs!
Oh, this is really interesting!!
Woo! Not enough vocal production content out there :o
more coming soon 👀

New SerpentIris upload 🏃🏾♂️💨
Excellent analysis!
thank you so much 😁
The bridge reminded me of the part in moulin rouge by the ending when pink, mya, christina aguilera, and lil' kim did their runs and adlibs, and julie's rap reminded me of lil' kim's rap in that song as well.
oooh! another classic that fits the vibe for sure
great breakdown!!!
thank you! ☺️
Your channel is such a hidden gem, idk how I got here, but I'm happy I am 💞
we’re happy you’re enjoying our content, welcome!

i absolutely loved the 2000s sound of midas touch. Visually too it is so good! What do u guys think of the song length, should it have a long bridge or a dance break? Anyways such a solid comeback by kiss of life!
We thought it worked well enough! Agreed though, it's definitely a short song, but that seems to be common right now...
yay I was waiting for a new video! Amazing analysis and video as always
Thank you!
Excellent video as always! I was wondering if you make a video sonically breaking down the big 4 companies and production elements? I think it could be very cool and informative among kpop fans.
ah thank you! we’ll see what we can do

I always thought Chungha's music was catchy and similar to YG's vibes :)
I love your channel omg! Amazing video as always ❤
thank you so much!
Awesome breakdown ❤
thank you!
Illusion is black mamba's POV?! The "you're so yummy, yummy, yummy in my tummy, tummy, tummy" makes sense now, thank you!
You always do an Amazing job, guys. I learn more about music with you than in my music classes. It would be great if you guys would use social media to promote the channel more, so more K-pop fans would watch it. Greetings!
thank you! we’re looking into other platforms 👀
Omg just found out your channel yesterday and have been binge-watching all your videos! This channel is a gem♥️
Thank you 😊
I feel like all of these are more in the major key than in the minor: i.e. IV V iii vi.
Yesssss thank you for mentioning that Paganini sample! Another fave of mine is how Red Velvet's "Birthday" borrows from Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue."
we did a whole breakdown on feel my rhythm and birthday in one of our longer videos, you might like it!
@@serpentirismusic Oh excellent, I will definitely go check that out! Thanks!
I love how analytical your approach is! I have several future episodes in development disecting genre influences on Kpop, starting with d&b, so my ears immediately perked up when I heard that mention. Really looking forward to digging through your content!
ah thank you so much!!
My wish you may review to ' Black Tie' ofJeff Satur. And TEN 's latest mini album 10!/10.
Eyze here, I’ve actually been loving both a lot recently! Maybe we’ll make a video on Nightwalker very soon…
Banger!!!
thank you so much!
This is probably the best introduction to kpop production anyone can watch thats looking to get into producing kpop or even just getting to know more about how some of their favourite songs are crafted by producers and writers! I would highly recommend any beginner producer to give this a watch as well as some of the other videos as well! Well done guys, you smashed it! <3
ahh thank you so much for the kind words! really glad you found the video(s) helpful!
Omg 😭 i know you on discord

Musicality ok, line distribution assignments wonky, and the religiosity of the lyrics are unrepresentative of DC's concepts.
my favorite part of super lady is when miyeon says "lade-es" because her pronunciation of ladies tickles my brain
