What is producers' secret weapon?

Музыка

Today we are looking at sampling in K-Pop and exploring the various ways K-Pop producers sample in songs. K-Pop sampling has been a topic gathering increasing attention, and there is a lot any aspiring producer can learn from diving deeper into what, how and why producers sample in the first place. This is our first of many "How To K-Pop: Production" tutorials.
Firstly, we look at drum sampling for K-Pop: exploring both one-shot samples and drum loops, we show in what contexts either of those are used and why producers ofter reach out for their favourite drum sample pack.
We also look at sampling instruments as well as melodic sampling and how the two can not only save time but also aid creativity.
Finally we look at sampling - or interpolating - existing pieces and songs and we even touch a bit on copyright, which is vital to ensure no unpleasant surprises.
