The neck's measurement is very similar to the Talman. I'm sure you've seen Ichika played his Talman a lot (before the signature model), and him being the signature artist of the Quest series, he definitely had inputs for the design of the series. Edit: Tried one of these when it was available for a short time, love the overall feels, been grinding for it ever since it was announced. Do get disheartened at times with the grind, but I'm grateful that my RG is still playable, despite the fact that it hasn't been professionally serviced, after 4 years of owning it. Can't afford the service fee, being really expensive where I'm from, I'm just glad it hasn't failed me yet, I do have to fight it a lot though.😂
Saying Player Plusses are under a thousand is getting kinda technical. They're going for $999 now, obviously more with shipping and taxes.
Get it used. I’m a big fan of the used market over new right now.
Much better!!! Great work. I would put a limiter on the master so you can’t clip (great safety) and a compressor on your Vox track to match your instrument output. Great guitar tone. Gain staging and compression take a little bit to master, when browsing patches the gain jumps all over the place so a hard limiter on the master will really help.
Hi Damion. Pretty good sound actually. Gonna try to adapt it to my needs. Keep on rockin' in a free world 🌎
Thank you Nicolas. I appreciate you homie 🤘
Dude your audio………😢 you need to take this down and fix audio and repost.
I think I actually will. Sorry the audio wasn't the same standard. I was trying something new and didn't catch it until I went into editing. I thought the information would've been more important than the sounds, but I miscalculated the importance of having the actual audio. I released a new video today. If you wouldn't mind checking it out and giving feedback, I'm trying to get my system dialed in so it is easier to create. My earlier videos used to take like 6-8 hours per video haha.
Sure I will check it out. I graduated audio engineering 15 years ago ;)
@@CodyMWI That's awesome. I'm done on the 28th and can't wait, but am also nervous hahahaha. I'm starting a company teaching experienced guitarist music production while I continue to build out my brand as an artist. I hope to get out on the road playing MY music. Thank you for being apart of my journey, hope to see you in the comment section more often than not! I love learning and improving, so feel free to drop some of that 15 year wisdom in the comment section haha. I appreciate you 🤘
I don’t know if it’s my phone but the audio is kinda weird
You Talk fucking too much.
hey damion! i just finished watching your video on the fender TMP and i have a few questions. currently i have a Epiphone Les Paul Special-II E1 Electric Guitar - Vintage Sunburst guitar. i have had it for a few years and i'm now looking to upgrade. i was thinking of maybe getting the Fender American Professional II Stratocaster, Rosewood Fingerboard - Dark Night guitar. i was also thinking of purchasing the TMP alongside the mission pedal. i mostly play at my church 1-2 times a month so i'm not an advanced guitarist (i have mostly taught myself). thats why before i make a huge investment i just want to make sure that it is worth the risk. would you be able to help me figure this out?
Get whatever inspires you and feels good in the hand. I love a good tele, but if the strat speaks to you, get it! American made guitars won’t lose value as much as others, so don’t worry about losing money. If you buy used, you can almost get in and out for the same price - so I usually recommend buying used over new. However, just do what feels good and enjoy it. Tone master pro is probably the best thing on the market for 99% of gigging guitarists. I’ll stand by that all day.
@@damionandy Sounds good, thank you! But one more question. I have spent hours researching the differences between a Strat and a tele and I still confused. For church music there’s a lot of ambient sounds but also many lead lines, so I want to pick a guitar that will stand out but is also good at filling the background. I know most of that comes from effects and such, but is one guitar better for that? Also I have small hands, so does either guitar have a small neck, or are they the same?
@@tiffanysotomi88 Doesn't really matter (on the guitar) tbh. A tele is more attractive to me because I can change tunings on the fly without worrying about the tremolo system. All Teles are going to have different sized necks. I would look into the Strandberg Salen. It's one of the best necks I have ever played.
Cool, the top looks like Ibanez put together an S, an RG and made it headless.
Dang, I can’t unsee it now hahaha
that switch isn't exactly a coil tap, it's the ibanez alter switch, it gives a new pickup configuration to each position of the pickup switch.
I've had mine for about 2 years and I rarely touch any of my other guitars. I've been an Ibanez player since 1988 and this is by far my favorite one I have had. I hope they continue this line.
That’s awesome. Out of all the guitars you own, what makes you pick this one? Really looking forward to your response!
Sick man, never knew you fished.
Oh yeah man, big time angler. Grew up chasing redfish on the gulf coast. Now I chase striped and small mouth bass on rivers hahaha. I love that reel thrill
@@damionandy I absolutely love to bass fish on a paddle board, I don’t know why but something about how peaceful it is gets me so happy.
@@Groovin_With_Brady that’s crazy. I’m trying this for the first time this weekend. I’m worried my core is gonna give out hahaha. I’ll have to let you know how it goes. I usually wade in rivers or kayak in lakes. Can’t wait to try it!
@@damionandyI know this is really not place to advertise my new videos but i just posted a short of a custom clap stack that I smacked together in like 30 minutes.
Can you play single finger power chords on both ?
Yeah
That's a beautiful lookin guitar. " Like Goldilocks said" " Its just right" 😊 thank you for the great jam sessions.
My first Guitar was an Ibanez GIO and it's my favorite I own Ibanez makes good sounding guitars
They really do! That's awesome you love it so much, those are the best guitars!
Awesome video brother! good looking guitar!
Thanks homie, I appreciate you!
Way ahead of you >:D
hahahahah I appreciate you homie
@@damionandy I may never leave ya side! >:3
Hi, great videos on this unit, thanks How loud is the FR cabinets? are they too loud for home playing?
They are loud af, but you can dial them back. If you are just playing at home, I recommend getting a good pair of headphones over the FRFR cab. It will save your hearing and you'll get every benefit of the TMP. I'm about to livestream with my TMP and headphones. If you want some recommendations, i recommend the DT 770 for closed back and the Sennheiser HD600 for open back headphones. I own both and they're both great.
@@damionandy thanks mate
@@folb7247 any time homie. Hope you’re loving life!
The video colors are super awful. Not unwatchable, just very annoying. Just saying.
Thanks for the feedback
@@damionandy ah, it has something to do with HDR. Didn't realize it the first time. It's super bright and washed out.

Oh god.. The algorithm has taken my content to the dark side of the internet.. I hope you subbed to my channel, I can show you the way to prosperity... It just requires a little bit of purple and a splash of orange... 🐅
Lmao
Question for you Damion: Which sample rate are you using for the IRs? In addition, are you using 200 or 500ms? Thank you in advance!
Where are you seeing this? on my TMP, I am not using the speaker imp. Curve, my level is -8 db, and my cuts are 220 and 5.3kHz.
On your next stream could you play liMOusine by BMTH? It’s in Drop A# tuning.
I’m so happy to see someone play the verse part after the opening riff since I’ve seen it be played but not this part which I think is better IMO. Awesome job working on this riff, I can play it too but not as clean as I would like to 🤣
It's a TOUGH song haha. All of CHON is
Hello just can’t tfind where to load irs?
If you are on the app on a desktop, you can access it by the speaker icon on the far left. You then drag and drop your IR into the TMP or use the "+" icon.
@@damionandy ok,thanks for the help;
Super unimpressive music. They should stay gone until they learn to create ACTUAL music. Record label was wise. Anyway can play through scales, modes, and arpeggios. It's not rocket science. Math Rock is Tool. They use so many less notes to create actual feeling in their music. These guys are amateurs
I hear you, but you're also comparing two completely different style of music. Tool is way more spiritual and esoteric. CHON is chill, groovy, and highly technical. CHON is just fun to watch and play, TOOL is a spiritual journey. You could see this as a maturity difference, or you can just see it as two different bands doing two different things and writing really good music. Don't be a debbie downer hater haha.
The Ibanez genesis is actually so good bro. I bought the one last fall and haven’t been able to put it down.
That neck... Underrated.
The dc junior les paul with p90s is another under rated cheaper gibson.
I haven't tried one yet! But I'd love to!
@damionandy Great guitars, not a massive fan of gibson or a fan boy of any brand but I tried 3 in person and couldn't pick between them.
I think some of the guitars in the Ibanez Iron label are supremely good, 800 bucks and they feel amazing but usually you gotta file the fret ends but it's a great guitar I love mine.
I haven't tried any, but all Ibanez guitars I've played are seriously great bang for the buck.
@@damionandy I mean I guess there's a reason why they have so many artist endorsements/models, they are insanely great guitars for an insanely great price.
Did not know you get a strandberg that cheap!
Yup! If you can find them in stock haha
So buzzy bro
Try them out first. You might be disappointed.
I’ve owned every guitar on this list except for the boden essential; however, I’ve had 3 bodens and currently own a Sälen Deluxe.
Sick dude
Thanks homie. It’s coming along!
Asking this cause i’m curious. For how long have you been playing guitar and where did you learn it? How long did it take you?
I just practiced diatonic arpeggios. Ive practiced it every day for about 3 months now. I watched videos on the technique and got a friend to watch me and give feedback.
@@damionandy You learnt that much in 3 months?.. i’m impressed
Howdy it’s me again. I think it would be great if you did one for 500$~ budget, specifically a video targeting the beginners, i think that would help people a lot. One for guitars, than maybe another video for best beginner amps
Noted!
Lovin’ it! ❤
Love it! ❤❤
Un pretty much a cheap-guitar man
Makes one of us hahaha. I think the $500-1000 gets you a good working machine.
Really playing limbo with that $1,000 bar....
Get it used. You can save even more! If you’re a veteran, you also get 10% off at GC
@@damionandy I got a Charvel DS 1. 5 peace mahogany neck-thru construction, rosewood fretboard Seymour Duncan blackouts. I paid $375. It's better than most of the guitars you mentioned.
@@dandoo5657 I call BS. There's no such thing as "better" haha. The guitarist > guitar. But $375 and you're happy is a steal of deal, congrats.
Or I could go sell my kidney and buya Gibson les paul
You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes. 😂 ( please don’t sell a kidney 🫘)
@@damionandy I'll sell kidney beans on the dark web and say kidneys for sale then in really tiny writing I'll put the bean kind
@@Anime_lucha 😂😂😂
🎉🎉🎉🎉 Congrats 🎉🎉🎉
999.99 is not under a thousand.
I mean, $1000 > $999.99 mathematically haha.
Strongly agree with the player series and the strandberg. The other two absolutely not lol. And I can't believe the PRS custom 22/24 SE isn't on here. It's a staple and rules the $500-1000 price range.
I can’t get down with PRS haha. I haven’t found one that I absolute love
most #schecterguitars are under 1k. I have the Hellraiser and the C1 and they fucking sound bad ass.
What headphones are those ?
sennheiser hd 600 in black marble. Snagged them on FB marketplace for $100. Open back headphones are so good for mixing. Before these, I mostly used the DT 770 and HD280s
What do you mean rip? Don't tell me they broke up
They went on hiatus like 2 years ago and then announced officially that they disbanded a few months ago.
I have bad news…
oof, this hits
Thanks homie. Hope you’re having a great day! I appreciate you watching 🤘
huh???
bingo with the capo/synth.... perhaps fenders listening. Almost bought a helix...took a chance on TMP after the research. transparancy got ya another sub....peace.
I appreciate you homie
You're crazy thinking the tone master pro is better than the axe fx3.
Maybe you should review your videos before releasing them to KZread, especially after notifying everyone you are graduating from music production education. Spiff up yer stuff and you might get to 2K subs. BTW I subscribed!
While I appreciate the sentiment, the fact that I’m turning in my 3rd composition this weekend in 3 weeks along with 52 song design tracks is the exact reason why I didn’t retake it. I thought the information was more important than the sound of a preset you can download, but I may stand corrected.
