This is the best Southern Rock rig on Fender's Tone Master Pro

Hey Y'all,
I don't think it gets any better than Southern Rock. From Lynyrd Skynyrd to Molly Hatchet, southern rock kicks A$$. In this video, I build a rig with the Plexi amp and a Deluxe Reverb.

All of my videos talk about it, but I'd look at the Impulse Response video, I believe I speak about it in more detail there. I have a poll up on my channel right now. Would you mind clicking my profile picture here and casting a vote / leaving a comment?

Really enjoying these TMP preset builds, can you do one for jangle rock, thinking REM Byrds, the La’s and maybe a shoegaze preset for the Ride, Brian Jonestown sounds?

Hey Damion, another fantastic video! Thanks! Absolutely, nothing beats real tube amps, but the convenience is undeniable, as you pointed out. I'm in the midst of recording some Country tracks (as a hobby, I'm not.a pro), and I'm truly appreciative of not having to mic my amp anymore (even though I used to), thanks to the TMP, which is an excellent tool without any significant sacrifice in sound quality. By the way, you have an impressive guitar! Southern Rock rocks! Cheers from across the pond, Chris.

Yeah, the TMP kicks ass for recording. I'm not going to lie, my TMP sounded great on stage and breathed really well in the room. But I also enjoyed the smell and feeling of the tube amp backline CRANKED hahaha. My back enjoyed packing up and leaving tho

Thank you for presets (Country, Metal, Rock…) for the FTMP. They are very useful to me as a beginner with that device. However, have ever considered to make presets for specific songs ? I mean, for example, I’ve been struggling with making a preset for Wicked Game (by Chris Isaak) that would be very close to the original (Closer than the factory preset). I didn’t find anything on YT about preset for specific song. Nevertheless your videos are great. Thank you again for that !! 🤘🏻🎸

I haven't. I haven't really messed with scenes much, so it doesn't immediately stand out as a feature I'd use. I need to look more into it..

I'm loving your channel and videos. I don't own a modeller yet, but I'm looking at possibly getting one at some point this year. I'm torn between the ToneMaster Pro and the Fractal FM9. I love the UI of the ToneMaster Pro but everyone seems to say that the FM9 sounds better. I don't do any recording and I'm looking at a unit to simplify my live playing rig. I would never play direct to FOH, so a modeller into a FRFR speaker would be my "amp". Do you think the TM Pro and Fender FR-12 would be "good enough" for an "off the floor" sound for a DadRock (Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden, Allman Brothers) bar band? Or should I take the time to learn the Fractal "ecosystem"?

I’d never want to edit my AxeFx3 during a Gig because you really need a computer to do it “efficiently”. The TMP is the easiest to use and sounds just as good - it just doesn’t have 200+ amps - YET. It’s way newer.

My AxeFx3 is my studio toy and would be fun if I was playing big shows that allowed rack mounted gear. I think the FM9 is sweet, but the learning curve is steep. It also doesn’t have I/O compared to TMP for vocals.

@@damionandy Awesome! Thanks for the response. So many modeller videos talk about going direct to FOH but for those of us playing dive bars with our own limited sound systems (that only run vocals and kick drum) going to FOH isn’t an option. Glad to hear that the TMP will do the job “straight off the floor”
