Hey Damion, yet another fantastic video showcasing a real-time Tone Master Pro software bug, and I must say, I appreciate that you kept it in your video, ha ha ha! The Tone Master Pro has never posed volume issues to me because mirroring the behavior of physical rigs with maximum volume shouldn't be the norm. It seems we've grown accustomed to VST amp emulation plugins offering loud presets, catering to our preference for louder sounds (it has bee proved and is the main reason of the "loudness war"). Even Amplitude 5, a favorite of mine, defaults to maximum volume, necessitating adjustment to prevent clipping in the DAW. Your point about using your ears is spot on, as ultimately, it is the most crucial factor. I have to confess that my first hobby was and still is mixing music so I'm particularly sensitive to gain staging and everything related to the signal chain. Cheers from across the pond, Chris.

Hi. Could you create a video demonstrating the optimal use of the six different volume controls on the Fender Tone Master Pro. So that: 1) all of your patches are the same volume. 2) There is an easy way to control the volume on the fly.

As of right now, there's no way to do this that I know of. They did just release a new update, I'm still diving through it now. School has me bogged down atm, so I haven't made as many videos recently. I'll keep this in mind as I keep learning the new update.

There are several volume and level options on the TMP. Coming from analog it is a bit fiddlly at first. Maybe that’s normal for modelers. Another great, short informative video to get people pushed in the right direction.

Hi Damion, the volume is definitely an issue on the tone master pro. I switch from clean to heavily distorted sounds but I need to keep the volumes coherent. So I have to adjust each amp's volume (I mainly use the Deluxe and the EVH) to keep the same level of sound and to avoid a big gap between the clean sound and the hi gain sound. Great video, keep rockin' 🇫🇷🇺🇲

Hey Damion, great video. I have been looking at ownhammer IR packs for marshall cabs. Is it worth buying into, i have never used an IR before.

Not sure, I use Chad Boston's IR pack. To be fair, I don't think they're necessary for the TMP, as it has great stock IR's, but IRs just make things consistent, tbh. Here's info if you want to try the one I'm talkign about: Use Promo code "DAMION2" for $2 off on an IR that makes your modeler sound like an amp in the room. Get yours at: bit.ly/4aZlcPx

Do you think with the new update and being handed one more volume control at the impulse response level, that we need to worry about it? Currently i'm just leaving it at the stock value of fifty percent so far satisfied customer...

Volume control on the TMP is a nightmare if you're new to all of this and incredibly powerful if you give it the time to understand it. I think they're walking a fine line between being THE modeler for guys new to digital, while also retaining enough flexibility to tempt Fractal Audio guys
