CRPS sucks dude, I have it in my left ankle. I literally told sold someone I wanted my foot cut off because of the pain. I also said I will not let this beat me, so I started months of PT and I was able to snowboard all year. You’re the first person I’ve ever heard talk about how bad CRPS can be. 🍻

I love it, thank you for your service and for caring about your afghan counterparts. We can never repay you for your sacrifices.. That being said I think you got who signed the deal mixed up. Trump actually signed the deal which was negotiated in Doha in which those 5,000 Taliban or Al Qaeda prisoners were released we also got 1,000 prisoners in that exchange. Your welcome to look it up and look into it. Biden was trying to make the best of a situation that was caused by the previous administration. Could it have been handled better oh 100% absolutely it was a 💩 show no doubt.

As an American I'm ashamed at the way my fellow Americans treated the soldiers when they got home. I wasn't born until '71 & I'm as thoroughly anti-war as any person... but our soldiers _never_ deserve to be treated horribly for decisions they didn't make that were actually made by politicians in DC. I've read where some soldiers changed outta their dress uniforms & into their civies at the first bathroom they saw after landing, just so they wouldn't be identified as returning soldiers & harassed. That's a dam shame & a disgrace imo. Thank you for your service Mr. Mannion 🇺🇸🇺🇸

My father was a Marine in Khe Sahn. Apparently, although he never talked about it, he was a tunnel rat. Which makes sense he was a plumber when he came back and his favorite places were in and under the craziest places in ppls houses he was in his element. He's no longer with us he had demons as many did coming back and used alcohol to cope, which eventually killed him. He was buried with honors in his family cemetery. He did tell me the day he flew back in ppl spit on him and called him and the men with him baby killers.. Could you imagine serving your country and watching your brothers die on the daily and some puke who lives with his mommy is judging you unbelievable.. Semper Fi, and thank you for your service.

There is a moment that we experience as people when we hear a story and though it’s not our own we tend to feel emotions as if we are those people and have gone through it ourselves. Your mind puts you in their shoes and the emotions that are felt are so real and true it’s almost like we lived it. The way I felt as this hero described his story gave me a feeling as if I lived what he did. I’ve heard many stories as a veteran myself and served in both OIF and OEF but watching this interview I felt sadness and other emotions unlike anything I’ve ever felt while listening to someone describe their experiences. I know this gentleman will never read this comment but that doesn’t matter. I just want to express that I have been completely humbled by listening to this video and I wish I had the opportunity to just thank this man for what he has done and say that I am so proud of him for having the courage and strength to share his experience. I pray that he continues to have nothing but happiness and peace for the rest of his life with his family because God knows he has earned it and deserves it. Thank you sir for everything you’ve done for our country and thank you for allowing me the opportunity to listen to your words. God bless you 🙏🏼👍🏼

I've heard this "I don't know how but they knew we were coming" thing from a bunch of first hand accounts. My thought is their leaders were smarter than we gave them credit for & they would send small groups(5-10) of fighters out to wander around the mountains(Iraq & Afghanistan) to be seen on purpose bcuz they knew that drones were always watching for them. So they'd keep the majority of their fighters deep in the caves, only allowing a handful out at a time to be spotted by the drones. They knew eventually they'd be spotted & have soldiers sent to find them so they were always watching & having locals letting them know when we were coming. Plus they obviously had the caves mapped out & some definitely connected, so it seems like letting themselves be spotted could be a way to surprise an attacking force & be able to have backups coming from other areas with escape routes through the caves when necessary. Just a guess, but that's always been my thought when I hear "they knew we were coming" ...they knew bcuz they planned to be spotted & hoped we'd send troops to find them in the mountains where our equipment & numbers couldn't be as effective as they were in the open PS: this man is a true hero, Semper Fi 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Just WOW! I'm so thankful for the sacrifices he and others have given for my freedom. And I can't thank them enough. What an amazing man. I'm so sorry for so the pain and hardships that he had to suffer after. But I'm so thankful for where he wound up. Maybe he had to go thru all this to get to where he is today, and to appreciate life that much more? Either way..... THANK YOU!!!
